Yesterday was...... BLUE DAY in MannieLand. Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group was performing live at The Tree House, deep within a woods in the PNW... Way to go guys! What a great day for Mannie. We had been yellow and pink the day before, several days before.It was great to have him have a blue day: a nice steady blue surf. I hope all this means that the AB's are working, things are returning to normal... Paws crossed. Appy is a little better today. We hope for a great day today - lots of Blue for the Blue Mannie Group. All is well in MannieLand. Last weekend I put up some Christmas lights in various places in the house, mainly for DGS to enjoy. he looks at them all every time he comes in the door.... Today He wanted to make sure Mannie saw them too. He'd look at one section, and in true VOICE fashion he'd yell: "Man-NIE! See! See!". This went on for several minutes in several locations. :lol: :lol: :lol: It really was kinda cute. They did share breffis - blueberries for Nicholas, FF turkey for Mannie. Funny - neither one of them wanted to share what they had. :lol: :lol: Mannie spent most of the day sleeping in his bed. The morning weather was awful cold and very wet. We saw some sun in the afternoon, but not much warmth. Mannie sat at the slider door and watched for a while. I offered to open it for him, and in response I got his backside. Guess he didn't want to go out. :lol: :lol: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS today too, my last full week. Today will be a swim day for Nicholas, and then hopefully we can find a nice outdoor spot, maybe a creek today if it is not too cold, or wet, and if we have time to travel. Not too sure at this point if that will be doable or not - darn weather is so unpredictable... and then we also need that permission slip from Mannie... I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

Today is NYC day with Maui and her bean - we gets to do all sorts of cool things: Good Morning America, and then crab eating and sangrias in the village and then we gets to meet the president - THE PRESIDENT! and thrn drinks and appetizers! and thens we gots a party at her place. do you believes it! Morning Mary so true isn't it on getting us beans to do their tricks. darn cats! And I'm there all the time, open this, open that... only to have him not do nay of it. HAHA. Me too on Mannie, it is good. 8 more days to go on the AB's. I hate to change meds mid-stream, so we are trying to deal with this appy thing. Will get some probiotics this weekend. I do think the AB's are working -w e are getting better numbers, now if it just would stop making him feel icky... well, he is better over all. YAY!!! on the pics - I am so glad that it worked for you. THX on today - it will all be good.

Morning Michelle and Mannie, and congrats on all the blues and what fun to be playing backup singer in Mannie's Blue Group yesterday.
Mannie, thank you for the Triple Espressos and mocha drink. It is the bestest coffee ever, Auntie AnnSo sweet with DGS and the decorations. It will be so much fun this year with DGS at this age. He enjoys everything so much. Have a great swim and day with DGS. Great pics yesterday at the Children's Museum.

Good morning, Michelle and Mannie....nice blue this morning and now followed by the yellow.....going the wrong way my boy, but at least it looks like he is giving you approval to go out with DGS today.

Mannie....if you would make a nice soothing cup of tea...something like a 10 hr. snooze type of thing, I may be your best customer! However, your coffees sound very delish! Can I get it in an iced version????

HI Ella - THX - only a week to go. YAY!!!!! He did well this AM, then back to the no food interest by +2. four cans later I found an acceptable one... Yep, it was good at the museum. very chaotic with all those kids, but all is geared to the very young ones, so they can make it all work. Great earning experience for them plus alot of fun.

Hi Mommy, it is I your fun, loving traveling kitteh Mannie! I want to tell you all about our day! Man we laughed, we cried, we ate, we drank, we sang, we walked, we rode, we napped!

So, after I picked everyone up Maui's mommy bean took us to Times Square and made sure got got spots right up front. We held up our signs really high! Thanks for bringing the signs Tess. Did you see them mommy? Did you? And the bestest thing happened - Sam Champion came out and stood amongst us and he asked us questions and we all started talking at once and poor Sam had trouble following our story. He invited us inside the studio to watch the rest of the show and meet the team! It was great!

Then Josh came over, my he is one tall bean and asked if we wanted to visit Robin at her home and see her Christmas tree........

Uh Mannie's mommy, it's Maui and I need to tell this part of the story, see Mannie is too embarrassed to tell you what happened. He started to cry, he didn't want anyone to see and stood in a corner crying. George saw Mannie crying and took him aside and asked what was wrong. Mannie told him that he knows Miss Robin is very sick and can't catch cooties and germies and that he was sick with something only kittehs get and was dutifully taking his meds, but he was afraid that he would might get Miss Robin sick and he wanted to see her so bad and didn't want to spoil the fun for everyone.

George picked him up and hugged Mannie tight and told him to dry his tears, that he would take care of it and nobody would be the wiser. He put Mannie down and walked away. As Mannie wiped his eyes on my back and soaked me. George came back and said, kittehs he just spoke to Miss Robin and while she would love to have us visit, she was very tired and not up for visitors, but she really wanted to meet us. So we got to talk with her on the phone and see her on the TV!! That George is one clever bean! Mannie smiled and said that George must have been a kitteh before he became a bean!

Mommy, it was so cool, we got a tour of the studio, pictures with George, Josh, Sam and Lara and they gave us cool hats and mugs!

After the tour, Maui's mommy bean said we were going to walk to the subway and go to the village!
Maggie got scared when we went down and it was so noisy. We all held paws and climbed aboard. Wow mommy, it was like a moving playground! It had all these metal poles that we tried climbing and kept sliding down. Rusty was really silly and couldn't get a grip and slid down and landed on his bum! It was lots of fun! and guess what, they let droolers on the subway too! We met a big German Shepard named Ralphie and he wore a funny harness and necklace that his bean was holding. Ralphie told us he is a working dog and his job was to see everything that his bean can't see!

Oliver giggled and whispered to Ralphie would he be want to work for Maui and see for her?! Ralphie thought about it and said that he loved his bean and wouldn't leave him, but he has lots of friends and one of them might want the job. Mr. Spot snickered and said nobody works for Maui for long, she wants all her staff to wear funny clothes and I prefer to be Nekkid Spotty!

Before we knew it, we were in the village, we got off the subway and raced up the stairs, but oooooh it was raining. Good thing I brought coats and umbrellas for all of us. Before we were allowed to go onto the street, Maui's bean said that the streets are really wide and there is a lot of cars and she didn't want anyone to get lost, so would everyone mind wearing these lovely necklaces and long chains that she brought for us. They were pretty, sparkly and had our names on them. None of us wanted to wear them, but she looked at us and whispered that it really was so Maui wouldn't wander away and get lost. we winked at her and went along with the ruse, so please shhhhh don't tell Maui.


She took us to a restaurant called Sevilla and it smelled so yummy in there. We jumped into the booth and behaved really well, nobody put their paws or butts on the table. Well Leo tried and we told him to behave and he did..... :lol:

and we were on our bestest behavior honest! Maui's bean ordered for the whole table - she ordered three kinds of yummie fishes with heads and tails included.....mmmmm.....crab meat and shrimp and chicken and pitchers of sangria without any silly fruit! and lobsters and the waiters put funny bibs on us so we wouldn't mess up our fur...Tess laughed and said but then we won't have any leftovers to snack on later!

there was so much food and just when we thought we were done, out came the most amazing thing called flan. I don't know what it is exactly, but it was the yummiest sweet cream that I ever did taste. And the chef came out and told us that since we were extra sweet cats, he made this special without any sugar or carbs so we could enjoy it without worrying about our beegees!

Hey mom, I gots the recipe will you make it for me sometime, please! PLEASE!

we were so full and ready for a nap, but no, it was time to meet the President! We all promised to behave, stay together and be quiet as mice tee hee.

And sadly, he wasn't there. We got there and held in our excitement and he wasn't in the TBP today! We were so disappointed, Leo wanted to toss a hairball on the floor! :roll:

But we did get to sit on the radiator and look out the window and see the statute of liberty! man, she is big - next trip we are going there and race up to the top! Maui's bean was disappointed and promised to make it up to us. She said we could take the train to Maui's other home and have a party!

We were so tired that we took a taxi to the train station and fell asleep on the train. It was so dark out that it didn't matter. Now we are all at Maui's other house and everyone but me is napping in the bed. Maui told us that if we meow and chirp and give lovey eyes, that we will get snacks and treats and yummie hot cocoa in bed too!

Maui's bean said that we could stay the night and have a slumber party and she promises to test and shoot us all! Ouchies, I hope she really doesn't shoot us and means give us the dire beastie meds instead.

and she said tomorrow morning she will take us out for breffis at a place called IHOP - I wonder if it's full of bunnies!

anyway, can we say mommy! Please is it ok if we spend the night and go to IHOP? We all would love to do this....please say it's ok!

that is my report for our day with the bean in NYC! Now, I need to find a warm spot in that bed! Move over Maui, here I come!

Mannie - my boy - you most certainly may spend the night at Maui's. Slumber parties are so fun,.... all the kitties will have a blast. And the IHOP! Your bean is very jealous! Your day is amazing. And yes!! I did see all of you, on the television! You all looked so great. You be sure and give George a big hug for all he did, and understanding how it is for kitties that are sick. Mannie and all the kitties are sound asleep! and someone is snoring really loudly. testing was a breeze, nobody or budged from their places, the only downside, is now there isn't any room for me in bed! :sad:

the interviews went well and the afternoon interview was with the clinton foundation, very nice offices and security is top priority in their office - all locked doors and visitors must be escorted even to the bathroom. so we will see, the earlier interview went well too and am hoping to meet with the company next week - and hopefully, I like it and then have two offers at least to choose from! that would be cool.

glad mannie and company enjoyed their day with me in NYC and funny but I heard mannie mumbling in his sleep about flan and how to make it...so you're right, he may just figure out how to do it and if you're lucky he will make some for you!
