Yesterday Curry has some very interesting numbers.....at least for her.....Highest number was 147....Last time she was that high was the first of October. She certainly came up w/a nice number this morning.....So it took about 6 cycles to fill her little shed and get some better numbers.

She had a little coughing again this morning right before I tested her....After her shot, gave a puff of albuterol to help open her up a bit to allow the Flovent to get into the bronchioles a bit better. Then 2 puffs of the Flovent as usual. Hoping this is just a temporary occurrence and not a more permanent progression of the asthma. Just checked the pollen count outside....it said it was "0".

Very nice number this morning.

Looks like you guys have been cold...are you running any type of furnace? The filter may need to be changed? I use a HEPA filter and change is 2-3 times a year due to having had 3 cats. Pollen could be in the duct work and is being blown into the house or if you're electric baseboard the heat convection could be causing it to lift off the baseboard surface like dust?

The pollen index for Houston today is 3.9 (low), but later in the week it is supposed to rise.

Thanks for the feedback.

I live in an apt..and do have the heat on....changed the filter yesterday....usually change the 3M filtrete 1900 air filter each month....also have an air purifier going since last week. Could be that dust is blowning in from the duct work. And I dont open window anymore since she was diagnosed.

Cleaning ducts.....not all that its quacked up to be. Sorry, bad joke. :mrgreen:

sorry to hear on the asthma...does it progress in cats? i'm not at all familiar with asthma in pets...DH has it but he is heavily medicated cause 1)he is extremely allergic to Rocket 2)has had it since childhood....but as he's had his meds changed and keeps up with the routine he is ok....had no idea it progresses....will have to ask DH when he gets home...hmmmm :shock:

Nice numbers today for Curry. I hope he spent the afternoon on his surfboard. :)

I saw you posted on Casanova's thread about feeding 2% FF. We do the same and have only identified the Chopped Grill Feast (classic). What else have you found to be 2%? I know Shrimp and Fish is 0%, but Johnny seemed to react badly (high numbers) to the shrimp. Would love to expand our menu! (Fritz, one of our civvies would actually bribe you if he knew I was asking...he says he's sick of it...covers up his bowl of fresh food with the towel underneath serving as a placemat).
