12/7 Charlie - ready for takeoff!

We made it through airport security, passport control, and now we're at the gate. The 'rescue aromatherapy' seems to be working as Charlie has been so sweet thus far. We'll board our flight from Amsterdam to Chicago shortly. Many planes have been cancelled today due to a snowstorm here. Lets hope ours still takes off on time and lands safely.

Thanks again for your advice yesterday. Decided in the end to give 1 unit of insulin this morning as I am not worried about skipping a shot to adjust times upon arrival if need be. Charlie may be so stressed out from 12 hours of travel and a new enviroent that she may not even let me give her a shot when I land. Lets see how it goes. So far she's being a real sweetheart.

Thanks guys. Empty rows all around us. De-icing the plane now. Then we're ready fot takeoff! Little occassional 'meeps' out of kitty very time the plane moves. Pretty cute, but I hope those meeps don't turn into cries like a tiger.
