Nap is doing great. Lots of energy and he seems like a happy boy One thing I have noticed is that he is not flinching when I give him his shot as he did sometimes with Lantus, does Lantus sting? He had some great numbers yesterday, much sooner than I expected so I am confident that I made the right choice switching him to Lev.

Hi Nicole, I've heard that Lantus sometimes stings, but I think it depends on how large the dose is. Anyway, Napoleon is doing well on Lev. (is this day 2?), so keep up the good work.

Lantus is acidic and can sting. Given the small doses we use, unless a cat is particularly sensitive it doesn't seem to effect most cats unless they are on a high dose.

That blue pre-shot is very pretty to see!
