Good day! It is crisp and cool on the desert today. Sending healing vines to all in need.

Morgaine is content and spent the night in and out of my bed purring, cuddling and then who knows what she does when she has the place to herself. My real suspicion is that she snoozes on my big comfy chair which she never gets on when I am up because I am in it. I caught her snoozing in it a few times and wish she would join me when I am in it. She is not a lap cat and must have her space in case there is a need to escape from the bean's affections.

Hope you are all having a nice day.

Morgaine is looking more like herself this morning. Purry lap cats are cool, but I really do admire the independent streak!

I bet you are both happy to have Morgaine back in the bedroom! A while back, you mentioned an odor remover you used...could you link that again? I'd like to try it out. Nice amps this morning!

I was using a mixture of 3% hydrogen peroxide, bakingsoda and a few drops of dish liquid. Here is what it said to do:

There is only one sure way to get urine out permanently without leaving a stain or any odor behind. This can be used on any surface or carpet or material. This formula is being sold on e-bay so someone will be unhappy, but I think profiting on other people's misery isn't fair. It's simple...

16 0z Hydrogen Peroxide
1 Teaspoon dishwashing liquid
1 Tablespoon Baking Soda

Mix together and soak area, leave on till completely dry if a white residue appears it can be vacuumed or brushed away. This has never failed and I have 16 cats.

I have also purchased a couple of other odor off mixtures but they are very perfumey and/or do not remove the odor but cover it up. The peroxide mixture worked well for me. I did end up washing my bedding with a cup of baking soda and a strong cat odor off liquid and it removed the urine odor. I wouldn't use peroxide on anything without testing it first as it could bleach the color.

Oh ok, thanks so much! It's the rugs under the litter boxes I need to clean - they're too big and stiff to put in the washer. The first one I put in there came out with a hole in the middle ohmygod_smile Fortunately they're just $8-12 rugs from Walmart, so not that big of a deal. I'll definitely test the peroxide first tho.
