Good evening, Lantus Land neighbors!
We're sending out lots of healing wishes and hugs to all the kitties and beans in the neighborhood. We hope you're having a good Caturday.

Clare's bouncing today after taking a long, slow slide last night. I've never seen anything like it with her: starting at about 11, she came down about 10 points each hour. Finally at about 3 AM I gave her some 6% food and went to bed.
She was still pretty low this morning, but starting a long bounce. Maybe all of this means that she's evening out. Or not.
Wendy, you asked about charting when she eats the mice. I think that might be a good idea. It seems that for some reason, she catches them at about 4-5 AM and eats them then. It seems to make her AMPS high. I wonder why, though -- aren't mice supposed to be the perfect food? ;-)
They do then seem to cause disruption in her eating, which makes regulation difficult to say the least. Around here anyway, mice are pretty lean -- she eats them but then doesn't seem to add on any calories and she really needs them just now.
DH and I both left the house two days ago for awhile. Clare seemed to just stop eating while we were gone, and when I came home she was at 40! ohmygod_smile It was my fault for not showing him how to leave more food (and higher carbs) when he left after she tested lower than we expected. And my fault for not coming home sooner. I felt so badly for her.
Sometimes I feel like such an idiot! ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile
Have a good night, everyone.
