I'm still in a fog as to what to do with Chester. This high amps is probably from all the extra LC and the HC gravy last night, but I suspect he'll drop again. FRUSTRATING! I'm not sure what to dose...guess I'll wing it!

I'd keep him at the same dose. He may be getting ready to move for a dosecrease, but he didn't technically earn it yesterday.

wondering..... since he gets so distracted about eating. Has he always been that way? wondering if you tried some other brand(s) of food or sprinkled some forti flora or chicken dust on top if that would get him to eat more reliably?

Yup, he's a very active boy...one little sound and, if he's not confined, he's off to explore. A super little character is my Chester. I've tried it all, variety, parmesan cheese, fortiflora, prayer, cussing, feeding him from a spoon (that actually works the best).

Good morning guys! Sorry to see this bounce today .. hoping chester comes back down ... our girls are often scared off when they eat if they even so much hear a creak in the house ... but they eventually come back and finish their meals ... Have a great day guys!

Tonight's pmps surprised me...I was expecting the high 300s. Amazing what several days with NO kibble can do for a kitty! I'm still struggling with the dose, however. I'm re-quoting something Sienne said the other day when Chester was in the blues...

I tend to think that Chester's pancreas is sputtering. Based on what the AM cycle today, with perfect 20 - 20 hindsight I can say it looked like Chester may be winding up for a dose reduction.

It appears to me that he's clearing the bounce from yesterday's lows, but I know if I give him a full .5 tonight he'll plummet again, prompting another bounce tomorrow, especially with such a decent pmps. I tend to think I rushed the dose increase. Those yellows of the other day were working their way down. I may end up shaving the .5 a bit (half a drop of so).
