Yesterday Ruby had an all green day, but her appetite was not good at all. She ate maybe half of what she normally does. I'll find a different food for her today because she might just be bored of Turkey & Giblets. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good luck with the food! Hope Ruby eats for you. My civvie sometimes likes a small bit of canned salmon with his food - I put water on it and mix it in - I think he then thinks his whole meal is salmon lol. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure Jax would eat dirt if I put it in a bowl for him lol.

And that cartoon - couldn't be truer lol - when I worked from home many years ago, conference calls meant my civvie would come running from a deep sleep to meow. He still does it if he hears me on the phone :cat:

Love the cartoon - my boys occasionally will walk in front of the camera when I'm on a video call and it feels like I've seen a lot of pets and children this year from everyone :cat:

What beautiful greens yesterday. That's one flavor Tyler won't eat is the turkey and giblets. Everyday I have to give him a new flavor,
His favorites are FF Beef, Chicken, Chicken and Liver, Beef and Liver ,
Chopped Grill Feast Classic Pate, just found this one in my store and he loves it
Once in awhile I give him the Seafood Feast.
Good luck with any new flavors. They really are a pain when it comes to eating.

+4 = 134. We've held this dose for 10 cycles. Even though we had a low flat day yesterday Ruby's numbers are creeping up.

The food situation is surprising. I fed Ruby the same exact thing for YEARS and she never had a problem with it. Maybe because she is sick now I care if she eats or not. Found an extra can of DM and opened that up which seemed to do the trick! I'm also wondering if the pumpkin or the probiotics are giving her trouble. Going to take a break from that to see how that goes.

Ruby loves fish flavored anything but I worry about feeding it to her, especially now that she had a slightly high reading on her SDMA. :( You're so lucky that Jax will eat anything!

Olive always jumps on the table when I'm on a Zoom call these days. She adores the limelight! Ruby is a little shy.

OMG, Diane! The lengths we go to for our princes and princesses! It would all be fine IF I didn't buy two cases of the Turkey & Giblets, always wanting to save a dollar here and there! I have a feeling that if I switch around her food a bit this week with some Friskies pate that she'll come around to the T&G again so we can use it up. Otherwise the people at Petsmart know me for returning cases of food to them. I have so many merchandise credits with them right now it's not even funny!
 
After pondering it a bit, I've decided that if there will be an increase that I will do it tomorrow rather than today as I will be spending much of Sunday packing up my apartment. The cats are in the new place already and will be home alone a lot tomorrow. Sunday night and Monday will be better for dealing with any lows that might ensue.

Please let me know if you think an increase is warranted @tiffmaxee and @Wendy&Neko. Thank you so much, as always!
 
I think you could try the increase. The below 50 on the 1.5 could have been because of the influence of the 1.75 unit depot still. Just make sure you increase when you can monitor for a few cycles. Ruby might just need a small nudge.

PMPS = 149.

Went to the pet store and picked up some Weruva cans. First of all, their marketing is too cute for me to resist ("Funk in the Trunk"? C'mon! :p) Most of them are in the 8-9% LC category, which I am hoping will help with Ruby's tendency to deep dive at onset. I am also very keen on Weruva's relatively low phosphorus levels after her SDMA result and the fact that they don't have carrageenan in case her inappetance has to do with tummy issues. They are also lower in fat and overall higher in proteins than Fancy Feast pates. Weruva is more expensive than FF, but less expensive than a vet visit, so I'm down with it.
 
+4 = 53. She heard me talking about increasing. And she is barely eating, had a few bites of DM (I have three different bowls of food going on right now to entice her in some way). I have been resisting giving her mirtazapine, and at this point it's a little late for it to encourage her to eat.
 
Hope Ruby will eat for you! Like others have mentioned I’ll add some fish into the food to entice kitten when she’s being picky/refusing food. It usually does the trick! Fingers crossed Ruby will gobble up her next meal/snack. :cat:
