Morning and Happy Sunday to you all. Raja got an increase this morning. Hope she will bring her numbers down a little more. She was under that lone dining room chair in the living room again after eating. Her brother jumps u on the testing towel for his shot...she tries to blend so I won't notice her.

Dec 5th today. :roll: One year ago today, Raja was having her OTJ party. She had tried an OTJ trial and failed...so she went back on 0.1u for a little time. 12.5 days actually. She then completed her second OTJ Trial and this is the day that we all celebrated her going to the Falls. What a day that was!! We had 9 Glorious months at the Falls.

Raja just failed yet another trial so that means Raja has had 3 failed OTJ trials...but you know what? It's all good. She is feeling great and her numbers are in the healing range. She is just still getting a speck of insulin assistance. :lol: She might just make it back to the Falls again one day. We have HOPE! :mrgreen:

I have faith that she will get there too. She is so close and not using much juice to keep her green...so close, so close. :-D

Oh Pat...i know how you feel....i was looking at the list of OTJ kitties yesterday at Essi's party....and saw Raja there....Rocket is #28 on the list....we were lucky he stayed at the falls 2 yrs on the dot! i'm hoping too....but for now let's celebrate they're both in the blue this glorious morning!!! yay!!!

now Raja....please tell Rocket to behave...maybe he'll listen to you! :lol:

Ok, Raja...a little more juice for ya. Its amazing how little insulin she needs right now. Like a drop or two to get those great numbers.

Come on Mr. P....Wake up all the way will ya. I would love to know which part of her pancreas is holding back....and taking a nap.

I appreciate your positive outlook Pat.

So are the kitties gonna get their Christmas tree this year? :mrgreen:

Pat, I know how you feel. We were celebrating Milo going to the falls on December 20th last year. Hopefully our little ones will all find their way back to the falls!!!!

You are not alone in your feelings, Pat. Spot had three tries at going otj, well actually 4, and the longest he was able to stay there was a little more than two months. I felt a little disappointed at myself because I feel sometimes that if I hadn't taken so long to switch from N to Lev, his liver would have healed faster/better. But the main factor, as we both know, is the fact that they are doing so well that it really doesn't matter if they are otj or not....it's how they feel w/or w/o insulin. There is always the hope and wish that OTJ would be something they will accomplish again and to stay OTJ would just be wonderful tho, huh, lol.
I hope the extra juice helps Raja. It seemed to do good for Spot so far!

Hi Pat and Raja,
Anniversaries are nice, but when you get right down to it, the best thing is to have a happy, healthy kitty and a great mamabean to keep her that way! So Raja, come out from under the chair and have a little juice and enjoy the day.
You enjoy the day, too, Pat. And be sure to get that tree for Shadow and Raja to sit under and dream their kitty dreams of the great forest!
