PurrFace looks good this morning. Back to doing his little dance in front of his feeding place at AMPS time as usual. Very happy with the nice blue number he's starting his day with. :lol:

Remembered somebody was adding smashed pumpkin to her sugar kitty on LL...

My DW just told me to ask LL if anyone ever used pumpkin with their FD to help with constipation. I would think the canned pumpkin would have preservatives in it. Our vet told us yesterday that FD need fiber but it's very easy to give them too much fiber and cause constipation. I think I'll stick with the advice I received here yesterday.

I'm glad that PurrFace has got his little dancing feet on again. Sounds like he's feeling more like his ol self.. :razz: That's sooo good to hear. And nice amps! I hope he has a day filled with fun and good numbers.

thanks for all the good wishes and for visiting last night. It's strange about the anesthesia and numbers isn't it. Michelle said that after Mannie's last dental, he was in the 50s. There's so much good stuff you can only get here! I wish Ollies vet had mentioned it! We are lucky ducks to be here.

I remember hearing about pumpkin, but i totally forgot what it was. sorry. I hope you don't have those issues anymore.

Hi John, what a good report on PurrFace and especially the little dance. :lol: He's feeling much better and numbers show it, too. I've never used the pumpkin, but there's an organic pumpkin that doesn't have the preservatives and sugar in it. I heard someone else mention it. Maggie has the severe chronic constipation, and the Miralax really helps her. She gets a much larger dose than the kitties here. A lot here do use a daily maintenance Miralax. Have a great day and glad PurrFace is on the mend.

Hi Mary and Ann. Thank you for your visit. We are very fortunate to have this forum, Mary. It's helped so many of us. I know I would be lost without it. I hope Oliver gets to feeling better as the day passes.

I've never heard of organic pumpkin, Ann. I'm going to be giving PurrFace an 1/8 tsp of Miralax daily. I haven't gotten out to get any yet so last night I gave him a tsp of mineral oil in his food. Should be able to get some Miralax today. I'm thinking I ought to be putting some of it or mineral oil in the 2 civvies food also.

PurrFace did a great job of surfing the blue zone today. I wonder if he had his problem for the past week or so and that is why his numbers were so high. It's nice to see him being himself again.

I had an appointment today, can't say where but one was 3lb-7oz. I hope everyone had a great day and will have an even better evening.
