LBG wishes it was Dreaded Lupita Friday :shock: :shock: Yes....the bathroom contractors have had her hiding in the little hammock under the recliner all day. The contractors are ripping out the shower tile and our house is built like a fortress so it's taking quite a bit of time for them to get all 150 sq ft of it out. In other words...big job, LOTS of noise. I closed off the master bedroom doors and they are going in and out of the house through the doors from our bedroom to the patio so Gracie and Tobey have run of the house except the mbr. I also turned the stereo on and there is music all over the house so I thought that would help but she's not a happy baby. I think that's why her numbers are up today and it's also why I just let it be instead of giving her R. We'll just wait it out. Poor sweet girl. Tobey....totally unaffected :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

It's supposed to freeze the next several nights so Mike and I spent a couple hours hauling all the potted plants into the garage. :roll: :roll: Then I had to work today for a bit.....teleconference. And my big project now is the 10th anniversary of my dad passing is on Dec 13. I'm making a video of happy family photos with dad and putting it to music as a surprise for my mom.

Awww, poor Gracie. Her lil world is all upside down. Hope it doesn't go on for too much longer. Great idea with the video. I'm sure your mom will love it. Stay warm down there!

Oh dear, I hope that everything is going better now:) Your video sounds awesome. Hope Gracie is having a good night, as are you and the rest of the gang :-D

Poor Gracie. I hope the contractors don't take too long. What a nice idea with the video for your mom.

Bring it down, baby girl, those noisy boys aren't going to come close to you. Tobey, you are a funny guy. :-D I know it will be a sad day for your family, it will be nice to have the video of happy memories. ((((Marje)))) Thank you for the vines for Zener.

Gracie, a little noise isn't going to threaten you, is it? All is OK. It really is!

Marje, thanks for your visit last night to Rusty's condo . This evening, however, I decided that I would reinstate that drop. He may be bouncing, but his numbers in general haven't been where I want them to be.

The Family video will be a wonderful tribute to your father. I know that your mom will love it.

Have a good night and stay warm! (the temperature was 54 degrees this evening here!!!!!) (but I think that we'll need Tobey's cimmamum muffins tomorrow to keep warm--the thermometer is supposed to plunge later)

Poor Gracie - Hope the bathroom gets finished quicker than planned.
That is such a great idea on the video! Those who are electronically challenged will really appreciate it!

Poor Gracie...I hear ya, girl! I hate it when strangers have to invade my house, too! Don't worry, though...your beans will keep you safe - you're in good hands!

I hope the bathroom project goes quickly and smoothly. I'm sure your family video will be beautiful. Have a great, relaxing night!!!

Hi Marje. I'm sure the noise of the contractors is contributing some to Gracie's high numbers. I feel sorry for LBG tomorrow...contractors and Lupita :lol: it's nice your able to close off the general work area and let Gracie & Tobey have most of the house to patrol.

The video tribute to your dad sounds really nice and I'm sure your mom is going to love it.

Big sigh of relief by LBG once the contractors left. But she wanted in our bedroom so bad!!! I didn't let her in until I could clean up.

They got all the shower demolished but a bit of the floor. Tomorrow, the plumbers come as we are putting in all new fixtures. Then Monday, the tile guys come back to finish demolition, put up the new concrete board, and start laying tile which will take all next week. Soooooo....she has more time with contractors but I think it will be quiet except for a few hours Monday. After the shower is done, it will be 2.5 weeks before the granite guys come in to finish up but they should be quiet and it won't take more than a day. I really hope her numbers will continue down and tomorrow won't cause so much stress. The plumbers should only be here half a day.

But Lupita will be here ALL day :lol:
