Hi everybody. Well I got home late yesterday so Tori had an extra night's sleepover at Dr Doug's. She did really well when she was there. One of the techs told me it was so nice to see Tori when she is well instead of when she's sick. She commented on what a happy kitty she is . Doug said that her numbers were kind of up and down and he decided to do the 1.25 in the evening and the 1.5 in the day. ALso saying he'd normally not do that but he wanted to keep her safe. I didn't ask what her numbers were apart from this morning's because it was kind of crazy there. SHe's a very respectable 102 at +4 when we got home.

WCR= She's a very happy kitty to be home and I'm a very happy bean to have her home as are her brothers and Ayanna. She was kind of ticked off with me when I picked her and let me know in no uncertain terms loud and long. SHe's having a bath now trying to get the vetty bean smell off her fur before the party tonight. She plans to leave early tonight so maybe she and Essy can have a bit of a spa treatment before the party starts.

Now for the Good News!!! When Doug was checking her over he couldn't feel any nodes at all. No bumps anywhere! How good is that/!!. He referred to her again as our miracle kitty and that he thinks she's going to fool us all and probably has a good few years left. That's my girl!!

Son's Update; It was a very long day yesterday and we were all exhausted when we got home around 930 last night. So the doctor at the Connective Tissue Disorder Clinic doesn't have a diagnosis for us-yet. The good news is Daniel's Echocardiogram looks normal. He says though there are changes in the Aorta that can only be detected by a specialized MRI so he will be booked for that. He feels that Daniel doesn't have the major criteria for Marfan's Syndrome but he does have enough of the minor ones so that it can't be ruled out without more testing. He feels that more likely he has a collogen disorder. Marfan's is a defect of the Fibrin. Complicated isn't it? So the plan is he will be having the MRI and also will be seen by a geneticist and a opthlamologist who specializes in diagnosing connective tissue problems. All of these will probably not occur for 4 to 6 months and will mean more trips down to Calgary. So slowly we are making progress. On Tuesday he sees the Psyhiatrist who may be able to shed light on things as well and hopefully help us control the pain he has.

So that is a very long update on things here at Tori land. I plan to have a very quiet day today and catch up with everybody.

Have a great Caturday and party on kitties!!

Hi Barb ! It is nice to read that Tori had a good time with uncle Doug. :-D Even better news that he didn't find any nodes. AWESOME!!! What a special girl she is.

Wow on your son - good things, yet more testing. He seems like he handles all this well. I am amazed at how long all this takes. I wish the best for you guys.

Tori!! You're coming to Essi's party? YAY - I am soooooo happy! See you there - uh - do you need a ride? ~~ Mannie

Hi Barb: Happy Caturday. Nice WCR for Tori and a fairly positive report for your son. All crossed here that all continues to go well. Positive vines, white light and Reiki on its way. Have a relaxing day, you've earned it. Please give Tori a few hugs from us.

Well a bit higher preshot then I like but now that she's home and I'm home things should settle down and we should see where the 1.5 will take us.

I think she's glad to be home. She checked out the whole house a few times and then settled down for a long nap this afternoon. I think she needed the peace and quiet. I never did get my nap. My daughter had other plans for me but that's OK i guess. I'll grab an early night instead.

Oh stupid me I was so excited to see Tori this morning and so happy when DOug said he couldn't feel anything in her neck at all that I forgot all her meds at the office. Good thing I had just gotten refills on her Mirt and Prednisolone. I had 1 cartridge of Lantus left too. I'll go retrieve them on Monday. Sometimes I really wonder where my mind is.

Have a good night everybody.

So great to hear Tori did really well while you were gone. We will continue to keep you all and Daniel in our prayers, Barb. I hope they will have some good info for you soon.
