Good Saturday Morning, Everyone, and Happy Weekend,

All is well here this morning: all Ps in place. AMPS 107 and I shot the .25 of a unit, which is going to be Rusty's dose for the time being (I hope it got in; so much fur!!). Rusty slept on the bed with us all night long, reaching out with a paw occasionally to make sure that we were there! What a neat cat he is! We had a +4 last night and it was the same number as PMPS (85). Today I will get a +7 and start branching out. We have cold and snow. Rusty is on top of his scratching post watching for something to happen outside the window (nothing is happening yet; maybe the deer family will walk by later). He had a good play this morning.
Everyone have a great day today. Shopping??? We might go to the "Sparkle Village" crafts show held annually in the town hall.
I hope to finish entering all of Phoebe's data into Rusty's spreadsheet today.

Ella..I just love visiting your condo. Its such a feel good story....you, Edward and Rusty....together now. Puts a smile on my face and just warms my heart.

And then I see his numbers....Just beautiful.

Hi Ella,
I can't believe it was a week ago that I first met your sweet Rusty. I am so happy that he is settling in happily with you and Edward. This weekend seems a little boring in comparison to all the excitement that Ronnie and I had last week. I am happy, from a weather standpoint, that we did the transfer last weekend, and didn't have to move it to this weekend, because there seems to be a lot more snow around this week. Hope you and your two guys have a good weekend,

It is great to see you here again Ella...and to read about Rusty...and putting his paw out to you in the night...awwww...sooo sweet! Good job on the testings...it is getting better each day....

I so agree with everyone else - this is such a feel good condo - everyday. Rusty so loves it there - there is no doubt. To have him reach for you at night - so very very cool. His thank you gesture, his reassurance.

Enjoy your snow! it sounds so beautiful there - small town, snow covered - what a great visual image. I hope you guys enjoy your outing - it is within walking distance? Somehow that would be perfect.

I love the image of Rusty reaching out to touch you at night. He sounds like such a sweetie. You'll get the hang of the long hair soon! This dose is looking good, you've got to be doing it right!

I does sound like you are living in a picture postcard!

Hi again,
I got the +7 on the first try!! (bg = 75). Rusty knew it was coming, but he didn't get very upset. Edward held him. Rusty had a treat and a little food and is now lying on the marble slab on the radiator, checking the outside scene (snow and more snow; nothing moving out there).
Linda & Ronnie: Can you believe it's been almost a week? (Linda, for you it is a week.) Yes, the roads are much worse this weekend, so I'm really happy that we did the transport last week. Thank you both so much for helping us get the big guy here! He has started on his welcome basket (the freeze-dried chicken treats and the rope ball). He loves those treats and enjoys batting the ball around. He won't get the Xmas stocking until Xmas!

Mannie: your new apprentice is ready for his duties.

Off now to the crafts show. Yes, it is within walking distance (almost everything in town is!!!!! (as a city girl, this always amazes me).

What a great condo to visit. Enjoy the craft show. Rusty sounds like he is quite happy with you and Edward. I'm sure Stu is looking down with approval. You will get used to the long hair, Patience. I thought about decorating his harness, but he thought the lace was too girly

So glad for you Edward and Rusty! He is settling in like he was there forever. Sounds like testing is getting a little better too. That must be hugh.

Crafts show was nice: many lovely things. I bought a small basket of farm-made jams (from a local berry farm) to give to my sister for Xmas, and some simple, beautiful note cards. Rusty, however, stayed home with Edward. The walk was cold and icy with blowing snow. But I had to get out!
Rusty had a nice nap this afternoon, a brief play with "Red Ears", a self-grooming, and two schmoozes, one with me, one with Edward (it is touching how he goes from one of us to the other, as if he wants to make sure that we are treated equally to his affection).
PMPS (96) is good, and I got it on the 2nd try. I finished entering Phoebe's data into Rusty's spreadsheet, so now all is up to date.
Rusty is off to Essi's OTJ party (accepted as kitchen apprentice by Mannie and the Kitchen Krew) and we are listening to "Traditions in Swing"--one of our favorite NYC radio programs that we can get here over the internet.

crafts show sounds nice, even with the blowing snow and ice. here ya on the "had to get out!" - it was the same for me this afternoon.... all day with Mannie, I had to get out! :-D What a lovely gift the basket of local jams is.

Mannie was so thrilled that Rusty wanted to apprentice in the kitchen. he thinks it is co cool that they will have a singing chef. an extra special dimension he says.

Every time I read your condo I am touched by how perfect of a fit the three of you are. amazing, and wonderful. I hope you three have a great night.

Ella I missed your condo this morning :oops: but I'm so happy to see these numbers for Rusty and that he touches you at night to be sure he still has his OWN beans!! It sounds like you all were made for each other. I'm also so happy that he's doing better with his pokeys and you have him on a set dose...he's looking great at it. (((Ella/Edward))) for adopting him and making him a happy, loved cat for the rest of his life which I know will be long and joyful!!
 
Wow, I go away for several weeks and come back and what do I see??? A new cat for you - another diabetic cat at that - bless you and Edward. I hope he brings you years of joy.
 
Ella I'm so glad that things are going so well with Rusty. What a perfect match you have there. I'm so happy for all of you. I hope he keeps surfing for you tonight. Sleep is a good thing.

Hi you three!! Havent been on since last nite---Rusty knows he is HOME!! So Glad you got him before the weather this weekend--
I love the sound of that crafts fair "Sparkle Village"-- sounds so light & nice--peaceful!!
Then there's us at the Holiday Fairs here that are non stop people & lots of nice things..But not as peaceful! Lots of peeps running around frantic for gifts(including me :lol: )--It was good though--
Just love all the images of the love being built between you & Rusty! Moonie goes back & forth between us, wants equal scritches & pets!!
I dunno know all I get is head butts and the other butts!! No sweet paw on my hand!! My cats mean business :lol: :lol: LOVE ME!!!
Have a good sound sleep--we are thinking of you in winter wonderland--Hugs from US!!!
