Good morning LL!

Sunny start for Tarragon today even though it is rain, sleet and cold outside. His asthma has been flaring lately, which is probably from the heat being on all the time. Happy furry purry in spite of it all with all 5 p's present. Good boy.

Weather sounds dreadful. We are cold, but at least no rains so far.

Morning Melissa and Happy New Year's Eve to all of you! Sorry to hear Tarragon's asthma is flaring. Nice drop at the +2, and looks like a nice cycle day. Soon you will be leaving the rain and sleet behind for sunny Fla. We even had sleet last night in some of the more inland areas. Have a great day.

Poor Tarragon and that darned asthma, sorry to hear he's been suffering with it lately. What a change in weather for you down there, last i heard you say it was 80 down there!

You are going to Florida? Very nice :-D

I hope you and the fur kids enjoy your New Years Eve!

Nice drop. I am letting this dose sit since DH and I will be leaving in a couple of days and DS will be in charge.

Tracy - We are! We are taking a trip to the Florida Keys just the two of us Jan 3 -8.

Hi Melissa. I hope Tarragon keeps heading down and makes it at least to the blue zone.

The heater is probably taking a lot of the moisture out of the air making it very dry. I know for a human you want the air to have less than 50% humidity. Humid air is heavier than dry air and is great for dust mites etc which trigger an attack. The trick is to get the humidity just right because too dry air isn't good either. It dries the mucus membrane lining the lungs which increases the chance for infection. Maybe if you put a humidifier some place that isn't close to where he spends most of his time it would raise the humidity enough to help him. You could probably see if it's working by watching Tarragon. Just a thought.

Thanks! We do have 2 humidifiers in the house. We have also been changing our air filters every 2 weeks with the expensive allergen ones. When we took him in a couple of months ago, his X-rays showed a lot of new spirals. Unfortunately his asthma is just progressing. He has had asthma for 8 years so I am not that surprised. It stinks but we manage it pretty well with albuterol inhaler, Flovent inhaler and prednisolone. Every now and then he does have a flare though. Just a couple of coughs last night and nothing since so it was short lived.

What a nice day for T! Bummer his asthma is flaring a bit...this dry heat is so hard. What a lucky, kitty, though, to have such amazing beans taking care of him!

I'm sorry to hear Tarragon's asthma is flaring up. I hope he gets over it soon. I'm glad he's doing well otherwise. Have a great New Year's Eve.
