Good Morning everyone in LB&L land! I'm glad you enjoyed the beach pics yesterday! It was a pleasant morning for a walk on the beach!

Luci is also relaxing at the beach - it seems - a bit too much! Perhaps today she'll decide to visit the lagoon for a little surfing - she's gotten lazy! But those blues aren't bad...just wish she'd give up those yellow bookends of hers.

Hoping to get some things done around the house today - like heming the drapes - a chore I've been dreading...

It's the last day of the year, last day of the decade! WOW! Anyone doing anything exciting for NYE? Not me...I'm too old for all that stuff - might watch a little of the NYE show on TV before I fall asleep

New Years Eve 2017/2018 DH and I went to bed before midnight. And we had a horrible year in 2018. I'm not normally superstitious but I was convinced it was because we didn't stay up to welcome the new year. Won't make that mistake again

Our very good friends J. & P. are coming over later for a sleepover, it’s our usual tradition. The DH’s will be cooking up a storm and J. & I will make sure the wine glasses are kept full and the champagne is chilling!

It’s almost a new year sweet little Luci, how about exchanging the yellow bookends for blue ones? Then who knows…green bookends are looming…

Since Luci took her dive, did you still get the drapes hemmed?! Was she trying to help you avoid that?
Sue - I hope you thoroughly enjoy your perfect kind of relaxing NYE home party, and that Luci has a grand time tonight too. She will soon be free from that old cast, and will attempt the new blue bookend style just to make you happy
I'm also feeling too old for that party stuff; I worked during the holidays (still am) and just want to be home, sweet home.

Luci decided that today was HER day to do a little shark chasing! Hit the limes a couple of times...I paused at PMPS to see which way she was headed without food...looks like she's spun it around now...we'll see...

I've been working on hemming drapes all day and I'm tired! Hope DH plans to stay up late to watch Luci ... er...the ball drop at midnight...
