Didn't get the PMPS data in last night just because I have forgotten how to make a condo on the same page as AMPS.

Call it being out of practice but would be nice if someone explain it to me again as how to make two condos in one day (24HRS period).
just like last couple of days he was injected 3.4 and I'm getting a hang of it even though it might not be perfect.
His +4 BG was 131 even though he was very hungry and ate 2 cans of FF LC + 3/4 cup chicken since 7:30 this morning ET which makes it
about 3 hours duration. It might be too much but he is losing weight and considering 131 BG I think its ok.

Lets see what Mr. Tubbleton has in store for us today :lol:

Oh, BTW, I want to thank Sienna (I hope this is your name) for getting info on syringes and some photos on microdosing.
I will pass on the $15 syringes simply because its not worth the efforts beside being kinda pricey. I think I can manage
doing what everyone else is doing by being more careful on getting the right dose.

Just wanted to let you know it was very kind of you furnishing me with all that information.
One more thing and that is Tubby's current number (131). He ate more than usual but keep
crying for more food, I'm going to test him again to see which direction he is going and then
feed him. He must be very hungry or else he wouldn't miss his nap for food.

Is there anything to be concern about him being so persistent?

He is 142 @ +4.5 keep in mind he had 3/4 cup cooked chicken breast 30 minutes before this test.
I just gave him small amount of chicken again, he was extremely persistent.

Happy to pass along the information.

It's best to keep all of your information for one day in one condo. All you need to do is edit the subject line the way you've been doing. You may need to eliminate some of the AM information since the subject lines only accept a limited number of characters. We do try to maintain a "one condo, per cat, per day" plan since there could be important info about the morning cycle condo that you want at your fingertips.

Tubby may be trying to tell you something if he's that hungry. Gabby will follow me to the kitchen when her numbers are dropping. This may be the case today with Tubby or he may have know there was chicken to be had!

In order to make one condo per day, in the evening after you get your PMPS, go back and reopen your condo and go to your FIRST post of the day in that condo; click on "edit" and then delete all the info from "AMPS" on and start with PMPS right after Tubby's name. Then click "submit". If you then want to tell us something, reopen your condo, click on "post reply" and write your post, click submit.

When you're feeding him just remember to not test for 20-30 mins after so you can see the effects of the food. Also, try not to feed him after his nadir if possible (if his numbers aren't tanking) or you will be working against the insulin. Of course, if his numbers are still low (50s or below) or dropping after nadir, you'll have to give him something to bring him up. We usually make sure Gracie has a little low-carb snack right before her nadir to hold her over. You'll just have to experimet with Tubby and see what holds him over but doesn't work against his insulin.

He is dropping, I knew there was something. Tubby will not persist if there wasn't a good reason. Sure he like any other cat would try to get something he likes but will back off as soon as I let him know there is no more food. Unless he is suffering!
You see, after all the food he had still dropped almost 40 points in less than an hour. Just gave him 1/2 cam of FF LC with chicken base which he likes.
I'm very tired right now and need to get some sleep or I will collapse but with his latest I don't know whether I should stay up testing more which I would do
under this circumstances.
I guess I'll try to sleep a bit then testy him in an hour or two.
 
You're doing a great job with testing but please remember to take care of yourself. You need to sleep. I think it will get easier once you have a sense of how Tubby's cycles go. For example, I know with Gabby if I'm not seeing big changes by +4, I'm usually good for the rest of the cycle. I've been surprised on occasion but not usually.
