Yesterday was..... yellow and pink stripe day in MannieLand.... or.... let's bounce from the blues we had from the day before. At least the day was predominately yellow, and not too full of That Color that shall not be named. :lol: :lol: At least that was the morning cycle... Now that PM Cycle?: WOOT! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: What a great cycle! It has been sometime since we have seen green - well done Mannie!! As I do everyday, today we hope for a good day, blues with a dip into the green lagoon. Go for it Mannie! Lubs ya big guy. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Yesterday the kitties were so so so happy! Those noisy machines that we rented to help dry out are basement wet back to the rental place, and it is once again QUIET in the basement. Elsa is thrilled as that is her domain. Mannie is thrilled as that is where the LB's are... a kitty likes to do his business in peace and quiet. :lol: They are still a little perturbed, as the carpets have been removed and are being sent to a carpet place to fully "recover". The saturation there was more than we really good handle well here at home, so let the pros do it. The kitties however miss them and aren't too thrilled with the cold concrete floor :lol: :lol: :lol: all of which I find highly amusing - as they will not hesitate to go out in the yard and run through the cold and the slop, but protest when it is their house. Perhaps there is logic there, hmmmmm..... This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club (YUM!), purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. I'm sorry that I haven't been around too much... what with this cold I've been trying to be good and rest some... that however dictates no 'puter.... I hope today will be better.

Hey everybody! What a party a Leo's! And all that snow.... It was so so cool. Leo is now the rainbow king! he sure lived up to his name yesterday.... WHAT FUNS! I so think we needs a chillaxin' day today, Maybe we can hangout on Rusty's radiators... that would be so cool. I gots lots of snackus stuff left over from Leo's - you guys in? Morning Michelle, what a nice pm cycle for Mannie, and a nice blue AMPS this morning. So glad Elsa has her domain back and Mannie has his LB in its normal place. :lol: Wow with the carpets. That was some job there with it all! Glad you are resting and no apologies needed as rest is the best medicine. Those nasty colds can really get a person down. Hope you are feeling better today and take more time for rest.

Hey Mannie, Leo's party was the best and the Coronation of the Leo the Rainbow King. :-D Rusty's radiator sounds so nice today, as it's cold here in this part of the country. Hi Michelle - sorry to hear you had to get the carpets out. Ugh. We had a flood earlier this year and the pros were able to float the upstairs and downstairs carpets with those huge fans for 3 days and didn't have to remove them. I have video of Molly in the basement walking on the carpet as it floated around her - she was so curious! I hope Mannie and Elsa can tolerate the cold floor for a while, poor kittehs! I hope you start feeling better - and BOY on that great cycle last night, but UGH on having a late night testing!

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) Yesterday was a great one for Mannie - sure was a nice recovery last night from the AM one. WOO HOO!, and bring on the greens. YUPP: happy kitters that have, more or less, their domain back. :-D oh yes on the basement - it has been an ordeal, but hopefully the end is in sight, at least until the drainage and structural contractor comes out next week to evaluate it all and see what we can do to avoid going through this again. THX too on the cold aspect of tings here: slowly getting better!

Morning Lisa ~O) ~O) ~O) yupp, bummer on those darn rugs! we tried the fans, and although they did make a difference, it just wasn't enough. I think we would haev fared better if it was warmer out overall, and not a "frozen tundra" in the basement. Well, they are large area carpets, so hope this won't take too long and things will be back to normal soon. Yupp - last night was FUN! It was good though to see him in the greens.

We did it in grand style yesterday too! heeheehee on the bouncing and the rainbow run - it is best when done in one day - then we can watch our beans go wonky and get all stressed out and stuff, and give us good fuds! Mannie/Leo,

This is Maui's bean here. Maui came home late last night and was covered in rainbow icing and cake! What happened? She spent the morning cleaning herself and insisting that I don't need to help. She is mumbling something about a fart contest getting out of control and jumping and diving in a hot tub. And something about a coronation and wanting to be part of it. Of course that doesn't explain how Maui ended up looking like a rainbow? :shock:

Would someone like to tell us what happened..... and what's with today's numbers Mannie?

Don't worry about my bean. She really isn't mad, she just didn't mind that I came home looking like a rainbow. She didn't like me getting into bed with her and getting the sheets all sticky with icing.... tee hee....I didn't tell her what happened as I know coronations are supposed to be secret. ;-)

I didn't tell her that we played who can jump the highest and fart the loudest and that I was winning but you guys put the cake in my landing spot and I fell into it! I didn't tell her that you dressed up and put a crown on your head and pranced around the hot tub pretending to be a king. I also didn't tell her that you made special fuds so Leo would fart in colors and become farbow king.

But I could use some help getting the icing off my back!

Glad to see he is coming back down today too. I am sure the kitties are happy that all is quiet again in the basement! Hope you have a happy Sunday!!!

You've been anointed to the Rainbow Court Mannie, no need to keep proving yourself. At least he's headed in the right direction. To be a true Rainbow you need to get the greens in there!

I'm glad you got the carpets out, it couldn't have been good for you sleeping down in the damp! But, oh! :shock: having to move everything to get them out!Maybe go w/ the area rugs until you get the drainage sorted out.

Hi Hillary - just ignore them. I kept an eye out. They are a bunch of little delinquents but mostly harmless. Maui gave the guys a run for their money. Not often they come home wearing their desserts, though!

MAUI!!! You NOT SUPPOSED TO TELL!!!!! I will sneak over and help wif all the colored icing. You trying to get us in troubles with all the beans?!? And don't even think you can beat me, the FART KING! But it sure was funny watching you SPLAT into the rainbow cake and blow icing everywhere! ~Leo

Yuck! The last time I got a Hi I had to go to my backup meter which is a different brand, and got something in the mere 500's. But at least you get to catch up on that sleep you didn't get last night. I don't know how beans with non bouncy kitties survive the lack of sleep.

Good news on the basement back to normal operation for the kitties. I hope you got out in the sunshine today. More later this week. :-D

Hi Wendy - I know on the backup - didn't do that, but did retest it three times! :lol: :lol: But you are so right on the catching up on sleep - I really need to do that, so I can get rid of this darn cold! I so hear you too on bean with flat kitties survive all those sleepless nights. We had fog here for most of the day - broke about 4PM. I did get out for a bit, but just a short walk through the woods.

Hi Sienne - this is all so true. major liver panic mode for the Nanner King. This whole past month has been one heckuva month....

I think Mannie needs to let the desserts alone for a bit. I'm not sure I've ever seen him hi but it's good to see him coming down. Lots of bouncy kitties today including his little brown friend. The good thing about Mannie is he always comes back down.

Glad the basement work is over. What a pain that had to be but you don't want mold.

Hi Marje - LOL, and yes on the desserts. Well HI is not part of his repertoire, but we have been there before. These high upper-floors seem to be his bounce to point these days after anytime spent in the greens or low blues. It as been a struggle to regain anything that he had before the last dental, the last UTI, the Giardia, another UTI, the heart stuff, and all the vetty visits.... we did so much better when he was "just diabetic". And yes - alot of bouncy kitties today, and yes he always comes back down. That part is good. THX on the basement - not quite over, but we are getting there. flood waters are gone, e are 95% dry, looking better.

Hi Ann - I know - silly boys and their stoopid internal organs. best not to say stoopid, those parts might stage a revolt.... :lol: well - better day tomorrow!
 
Boy, pretty frustrating overall when we are cheering for a red number. Have a good day and hope you aren't too tired!
