Good morning.

After the super-duper trampoline performance yesterday, she was able to come down and now, :cool: start.

It was a busy day yesterday and I was extremely hungry. I didn't have time to eat and I was feeling weak and dizzy. I just tested Mikan and thought, hm, why don't I test me? Mine was 44 mg/dL :eek:. No wonder I was feeling weak! Needless to say, I stuffed myself immediately. 30min later, I was 92 :p
The lesson is, don't skip breakfast!

Now I am going to make us a big Sunday breakfast!

I'm so happy, Kit to see the good numbers Main has given you. You've worked so hard for this, including several attempts to hide the trampoline - you def deserve an extra double cream on that Sunday morning waffle :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
What an amazing recovery from the trampoline performance last night, Kit. Very proud of Mikan. And a lovely PS today.
Looking forward to her performances today. Let’s do the blue and green dance pretty girl.

It's exciting to see a blue start, at the same time, I'm a bit nervous as she tends to go deep dive when she starts low :nailbiting:
I hope I can keep her afloat above the mojitos land.
It's only fair, isn't it, says Mikan, that I test myself every now and then, given how many pokes she gets! :joyful::joyful::joyful:

Thanks goodness for the fast recovery last night. It was upsetting to see a red start!

After such a trampoline purrrrrformance yesterday I hope Mikan takes it easy today and rests up.

Hopefully you both enjoyed a nice and filling breakfast this am. Also a good reminder for everyone to also take care of ourselves. I know that sometimes we're so caught up in our kitties' care we forget to take care of ourselves.

You are so right. We put ourselves at the back of the line and totally forget :rolleyes:.
This morning, I had the biggest croissant I've ever seen, plenty of scramble eggs and berries!

Both of my parents are diabetics, and when they visited this past summer, for some reason they declined to let me poke their ears to test them. How rude! :joyful::joyful::joyful:

Kit - I'm so glad to see Mikan seeing some action! I know how frustrating it would be to see only higher numbers. You're doing amazing!

Also @Jason - Kona's Dad and @Mikanmama - I used to be on a different forum for cats (just generally a cat forum) that has long since closed down, but the folks on there liked to talk about how their kitties would get on the kitty net to talk about their humans. My bf and I frequently ask Kit cat if she's going to get on the kitty net while we're gone. It amuses us.

Yes, these cats are totally playing games with us. I got a webcam so I can watch Kona remotely and make sure she eats her food. Well... this morning I almost had a heart attack when she asked me if she could start an OnlyFans. Saying she has to be connected with all her friends. :mad:

So happy to see Mikan on her green surfboard today. One of these days, if I ever get caught up on things :eek:, I am going to make a photo collage of all of our kitties riding the waves in Mauii. And then I will post it on their secret cat forum to inspire them!!

Mikan is a full of surprises. :) After the big bounce last night, she was able to get down -
I hope she can stay on. Still looking good at +9, but she tends to climb up quick after +10. We'll see!

Hi Karen,
Mikan's rocking today :). Even though she is likely to climb back up, it really is nice to see her staying in the normal range for a while :):):)
It would be so lovely to have that collage with all our furiends :cat::cat::cat:
I ate a huge breakfast and hearty lunch. No worry about my sugar going down today :smuggrin::smuggrin::smuggrin:

Mikan had a great run yesterday, but she found her trampoline :rolleyes:
But I was very happy to see her staying in the green for that long.
