Good morning Lantus Land,
As usual our little world gets crazy busy some weeks. Between my own homecare patients, the busy holiday winding up, 5 new clients, and picking up Colby cat from the wedding this afternoon of his beans.....things are a bit fun!
So without further adue....Attie is finally turning the corner on what is turning out to be a month long battle with rhinotraecheitis! We've had 5 trips now to the vet and it is finally clear this illness is getting more isolated to his head and not in his chest. We've added a cool mist humidifier to the catio room which will cover 500 sq.ft. and can be left running 24 hours. We have the 4 P's going on and we're only missing the playing, but I think maybe next week we'll get ALL five back.
Miss Bermuda our foster kitty is doing better and goes for surgery Dec. 7th to remove the last bits of wire from her leg and to be spayed. I don't know if she'll come back here for recovery or if the 7th is our last day together and then she goes to her new owner? She is a snuggly and spritely young black cat that will give her new owner years of smiles, laughter, and cuddles.
MudCat and Gary are finally getting on together. I caught them all snuggled up together on the daybed the other day.
And Gary has finally learned the game chase needs to run both ways down the hallway.
So from March to December is how long it has taken for Gary to be safely and fully integrated into our home.
