Hey,

So i need to update sams spreadsheet for today, i’ll post his numbers when i do, but he’s bouncing again from getting too low this morning (again; 7:30 am running around hyper begging for food, running around the flat constantly).

Good news is i finally got the autofeeder working. So that should solve that problem at night anyway. He dipped a bit after his insulin but he’s been going up ever since.

The auto feeder has 2 chambers and two timers. Big spot for an ice pack underneath and the entire ice pack area is sealed by the two trays even when the lids open. Should work for up to 12 hours at least. He’ll eat out of the trays as well, which is great. So he should avoid the nighttime hypos from now on.

In other news he has not pooped today. Which is nice if i don’t come home from my walk tonight and find 5 awful poops all over the cat box.

Just updated the title with his test results. He was very hyper, running around screaming at the top of his lungs to wake me up for food at 7:30 am! But it was 7:30, and at that time I am actually dead and barely conscious. I'm trying to help myself in a bunch of ways, but still that early in the morning i'm lucky that he was even able to wake me up (for me 7:30am is like 4am lol).

@Wendy&Neko ; he hasn't had a poop yet today, so hopefully he's doing better. I gave him some baby squash in a jar last night, he actually kind of liked it? Which was nice.

And thanks for everyones help.

One of these nights it would be good to catch a test when he's what you call hyper for food, to see if he is in fact going below 50. We don't want to keep a cat at a dose that's dropping him dangerously low. Maybe someday your body will become good at sleep testing - LOL. A skill some of us learn.
