Evening LL!! Moonie is doing (antijinx) better & even looks a little chubbier(antijinx again)!!
Last night 12/28 PMPS 143
+4~138 ~~shot a BCS dose
Today she has been eating, Pooped twice so far dancing_cat dancing_cat and doing a little better in general..coming out to the kitchen & LR a little, where she has been hold up mostly in BR which I hate...
She is getting prednisolone, and her insulin, plus 1 ml lactulose a day(vet said two but she really doesnt need that much)...She's eating kitten food & ff beef & liver, but I have to practically have to whip it smooth so she can lick it :roll: --OK Moonie whatever you want.. also got pan cooked chicken today..
Listen it is all working so whatever, we will do it--
Hope everyone had a great Caturday..DH worked 1/2 day & we food shopped after..
As I dont want Moonie going too low because I never know if she will eat or not on a given day, I am adjusting her insulin to her numbers--not recommended for others-Lantus needs consistency..

Woo hoo on the good report for Moonie. I hope she keeps doing so well. You're doing a great job managing everything with Moonie.

(((Roni & Moonie))) nice report on the sweetest Moonie! Yay, you're trying different things to get her to eat, and it's working with Moonie getting chubbier :-D and feeling good. I think, too, one dose of the Lactulose might be enough for Moonie, as she seems to go every day and some twice. If it seems like she's slowing down, you can always go back to twice a day. You know her best. Hugs and love from us and scritches to Moonie.

Roni, do you think you could help this newbie out (his name is Rick and his kitty's name is Mr. Grey)? His cat has been put on 10 units of Lantus bid by his vet. He lives on Long Island (Glen Cove area) and wants to find a vet who understands FD. If you have time, read Rick's condo. If you can recommend a vet, even one on the South Shore, I think that might help.

Sorry i missed you last night again, guess I need to do more in the evenings. Glad to hear that Moonie is eating better and checking out more of the apt. She is probably still getting used to all the changes in her life. Hugs to all, so glad that Brad fells up to going back to work too.
