Mannie and I had a nice mellow day yesterday. Another slow slidage down to the greens last night, before Mannie headed back on up. We have a 308 this AM, pink, but a low pink. Sure looks yellow to me.... :lol: We are on the 11th cycle of this dose - it seems to be working for him, YAY! Though I do struggle with measuring it... aiyee! But the boy is patient with me while he waits me to get it together. What a guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. Another morning of his pre-breffis happy dance: circle circle reverse circle meow meow prance prance, repeat... Still and member of the clean plate club - not a morsel left... He did try and raid the civvies bowls this morning - yum!: there are carbs in those bowls, but they too left nary a crumb. The nanners were scattered this morning: :lol: :o :shock: It must have taken him 10 minutes to get the pile back in order. He must have been having one good play party with them while the rest of us were sleeping... For now: secuirty restored, napping on top of the pile in progress.

Have a great day everyone. I am off later this morning to visit Nicholas. :-D and then back home to "fix the TV". We bought a new blu-ray player. Yesterday I pulled out the old, put in the new, touched only two DVD connections, and now the sound doesn't work. :shock: :-x :? Why is it that when you replace a piece of equipment, touch nothing else, that the new messes up everything else. I hate electronics.....

Yo Mannie! YES!! New Year's Eve Party!! My beans are having a big party at my house, so I'll be free for work on the Kitchen Krew (maybe I can make off with some of the bean's food) and I can help with making party hats and noisemakers. Where's the party? If you like, we can have it here. The kitties can go upstairs and party while the beans are downstairs, or we can party in the "barn", where there's a nice wood stove. We can play hide and seek amongst the canoes and go outside to watch the village fireworks at midnight. The deer family sleeps in the woods in back of the barn. We could invite them! Let me know what you think.

Hi Michelle, Enjoy the visit with your DGS today and enjoy(?) fixing the sound on your tv. Is it a recent model? Sometimes there are audio menus on the cable remote or on the "menu" for the tv itself. Good luck!

Thanks for the info on the meter. I've been using a Contour, which I'm happy with. The price on the Infinity strips is far less than what I'm paying for the Contour strips which is why I'm curious. I may order the meter when I order next from Hocks and see how it compares.

Hi Sienne. Yep, the strip price for this one is nice. I have a One Touch Ultra as a back up - really like that one too, but omg on the strip price: almost double... anyways - I like the infinity, glad I chose that one to replace the now unavailable maxima.

Hi Michelle! Hi Mannie! Hope you're having a nice visit with your grandson. That must be so fun for you! My mom keeps complaining that she's not a grandmother and all of her friends and siblings are. I tell her that she has lots of grandchildren - they all just happen to have 4 feet and fur. :smile:

Emma's looking forward to the New Year's party! She's been complaining that I haven't let her out much lately. So, she'll be waiting for one of the boys to come pick her up!

Hi Kristen - thanks! I did! He is such a cutie. Your mom sounds like my mom - she used to carry around a photo album - ya know the kind that says grandma on the front - inside were photos of my cats! sheshhhh! she said ti was the closest that she'd get to being a gramma. proved her wrong. :lol:

Michelle...I didn't get to condos today....got up, did Gracie's morning thing, fed civvies, then btb; got up and we got dressed and went out for the day. When we got home, I took a long-needed nap. So much for my day. How was Nicholas??? I'm glad to see Mannie had such a nice slidage into blue; looks like he will have a great evening for you.

Mannie...I want to help with the NY eve party and do whatever I can!!! Another opportunity to hear Moonie sing!!! I have to check in with Tess and see how her vetty appt went. It's raining here and cold but my beans have it warm with all the fireplaces going!! I need some niptinis Mannie!!!

Hi Marjorie - good for you! a day for the beans! One has to take advantage of them - when those kitties of ours give us traveling numbers we should do just that. :cool: so far his evening is really nice - even if he just stays in these low blues. Baby is doing well - passed his first baby exam at the DR, not too fussy - though he does have his moments: like 7PM in the evening. :lol: I told my DD to thank her lucky stars that it isn't at 3AM (anti-jinx)

Tess! I know on the spa treatment... it is so good for us kitties, and gives us great numbers. SWEET! and yes on the ban - won't that be fun. :cool: I was thinking the same thing for Binkster - he needs a new mousie, and I bet that the barn has lots! Glad you got to spend some time with the baby and yes..7pm much better than 3 am!!

Come on over Mannie and bring those peppermint infused niptinis....I can't get down too far off that high yellow floor!!!
