Was a little late waking up this morning and I guess that might've contributed to my potential fur shot for Lightning. I remember sticking the syringe in, but then when I pulled it out he felt wet!! I can't tell if that +3 indicates it was or was not a fur shot because its only a little bit higher than his AMPS. I was expecting a number in the 300's or something! So I guess I won't know for sure until his PMPS.

I won't be home all afternoon to get any more tests in. Ugh, so frustrated!!! He's acting totally normal, hungry like usual, meowing for me to play with him, etc. Kyle even said "well if you did give him a FS, maybe his little pancreas will start working and it won't be too bad"...Awwww!!

So we'll see what tonight holds....but come on pancreas, do your job too!!!

Or, that damp spot was from some excess Lantus from your titrating the dose that was on the outside of the needle.

I thought it might be that as well Sienne, but it was ALOT of wetness. I even filled the syringe with as much water as I would Lantus afterwards and squeezed it on the counter to see how wet that felt...and it felt about the same :sad: So that's why I for sure thought it was a FS. But who knows, I was still half asleep when it happened! I just ran home and am going to grab a +7 to see if that will indicate anything. Crossing fingers he's still in a good range!!

Edit: Um ok, +7 76....guess I am not to blame for a FS this morning....or else Lightning's pancreas is raring to go without insulin!!
