Yesterday's Condo

Last night seems to have been one of those very flat Lantus cycles. My last test, at PM +5 was 2 points higher than Gabby's AMPS. I'm not sayin' nuthin' about the color other than I like the colors of the lower floors better but, I'm not tempting fate, either. Gabby was apparently hungry overnight. If I didn't know better, I would have sworn I'd washed bowls and left them on the floor. Breakfast was inhaled and Gabby went back to polish the bowls (again). (FYI: Gizmo does not polish bowls. He is a sloppy eater. There are always crumbs of food around that he goes back to search for later. Just like a little boy - the sloppy part.)

I love that she makes sure the bowls shine :mrgreen: Wish Maverick would do that. If the bowl is cleaned like that I know the dog found a way up to his feeding station. How do you keep Gabby out of Gizmo's food?

Hi Sienne,
Looks like Gabby has decided to move today--already on the blue floor. Nice to have such a good dishwasher!

I tried to fatten Rusty's dose today, so maybe we will see if I succeeded. I think that I have been giving a "fat" 0.25 all along. I've spent quite a bit of time this morning "eyeballing" my practice syringe and observing how the dose "changes" if I hold it at even slightly different angles!!!

I saw your comment on Ann and Tess's condo this morning about the Infinity meter.... I too have switched to it, on 12/23. I like the meter - good and fast blood draw, doesn't need alot of blood (but have had a few issues with too little - not many though), nice readout, memory options, beeps when ready, when blood has been drawn, etc. It seems to read a little higher than my old (Maxima). This is more noticeable when you are in the higher numbers (20-30 point difference), minor in the blues and greens. I compared the two for a couple of days. This meter too will interface to your 'puter, and can put out some nice graphs. I haven't done that yet, as the cable etc are extra $$, and don't come with the meter. All in all - I'm happy with it.

I was out for the early part of the evening and Gabby and Gizmo got their several mini-meals all in one bowl at PMPS. I'm hoping that +3 reflects the amount of food they inhaled. She got a snack when I got home and promptly went into my study to cuddle with a sock that's filled with catnip. I think she's a happy girl.
