Furball was happy & purry this morning. I was surprised by the 127. Her +6 last night was 100.

I have been super tired all week since I had to go back to work after Christmas. I am now wondering if the syringe I found was from earlier in the week, considering her blues last night and this morning. I have two places I put the syringes down while I am waiting for her to finish eating before I shoot. It is possible I just didn't see it, but her numbers confuse me as to when I missed a shot. She had a 428 on Wednesday morning, the first day I had to go back to work, but I'm pretty sure I shot Tuesday evening. I guess it doesn't matter since she is doing so well right now.

Woo hoo nice amps! So you have a mystery syringe huh? LOL! Hope it was from earlier in the week! I know the feeling of being super exhausted, story of my life! Hope you have a nice Caturday!

Also possible you drew two syringes instead of one for one PS. I've done that, tested, fed, drew syringe, had a coffee while Simon ate,
drew another syringe.......
Missing a shot is definitely better than accidentally giving TWO :shock:

Morning Carla, Nice AMPS and wow on the mystery syringe. It's sounds like you've been super exhausted and really need this time off. Do you think you gave two shots? She's doing great! Usually I draw up a syringe, do a few things, and then in my sleepy state think it's a used syringe and dismantle the syringe I so carefully counted drops. :lol: Then I'm late for Mags's shot as I have to count all over again and fix a new syringe.

(((Carla))) Get some rest my dear. You are due. What a nice low blue start to your day. The odd syringe... it's probably going to be one of those never solved mysteries. I do like Bruce's thought.

Furball is on her way up. I guess today will be bounce day. I hope she doesn't go too high. Last night was not a good night for me to have to get up to get a +6, but I'm glad I did. I was able to give Furball her full dose this morning and go btb for a little while because I knew she was going up. I'm glad I have some extra days off since she is bouncing. This is what happens sometimes on the weekend. I am off and she bounces and then on Monday she is low, but I have to go back to work.

The syringe I found yesterday evening had insulin still in it, so I didn't give two shots. Missing is definitely better than giving two shots. It's hard to tell what day I left it out. I'll probably never figure it out.

Hi Carla - I hope you get some sleep and start to feel better soon. I'm with you on the exhaustion thing. ugh. Nice AMPS and +6, but Furball, no time for bounces! Wow on the syringe - a mystery! That would drive me crazy, but Furball is fine so it all worked out. Maybe you need to only have 1 place to set down the syringes! I've been absent minded a couple times and forgotten to give it, and found it later but not too late to shoot. Have a good day!

Little food spike, then right back down, right, Furball? It's crazy, trying to keep track of all of this. It sure doesn't look like you missed a shot, from looking at the numbers. Oh well. She's doing fine, that's the main thing. :-D :-D Happy Caturday!

Betting that's just a food spike and Furball will come right back down to smooth blues......scary about the extra syringe. Thank heavens you didn't accidentally give 2 shots at once! All this getting up in the middle of the night to test and monitor day after day can be really disorienting, especially if there's other things going on in the home causing distraction as well. Pretty easy to forget you filled a syringe and fill another. Totally understandable.
Hang in there and try to get some rest too! Furball is looking great :smile:

I was surprised to see Furball get back to blue today. I'm not surprised by the bounce. Hopefully she'll clear the bounce quickly. She was happy & purry this evening.
