Yesterday’s Condo

Doing okay this morning. He still seems a little down. He did pee quite a bit last night, but I'm wondering if part of that isn't that he held it most of the day while in the car. We'll monitor it closely. I got a +10 this morning, which was a 423, so he was already coming down from yesterday's highs. Hoping we don't cliff dive this one.

Happy to hear that Willie is coming on down.. how did he do in the car during the long drive? Maybe that has just thrown him for a loop the past few days? Baby does not even like going a mile in the car ohmygod_smile

I hope Willie's shed gets topped off quickly and he's back to those green numbers. Had you thought of maybe using to Feliway spray to help him through this tough time?

Sienne had a great idea...also, Bach Flower Rescue Remedy for pets (no alcohol) is also good. You can put a few drops on their gums or rub it on their ears and down their fur. I've used it in the past with Gracie and it works great for her.

Glad you all are back...hope Willie comes down for you today.

I've been eyeing a feliway... glad to know people have had success with it! I even have the bach flower remedy at home... I meant to take it on the trip with us and forgot. :( Will try that with him as well. I'm planning on buying a house this summer. Wish I could speed it up for him, but it just isn't feasible at the moment. He was doing SO well at my parents' house!

Hey, Binks! It was not for lack of trying. I cried like a banshee unless I was in my mama's lap. Except then I decided I wanted to steer and I had to go sit with Aunt Amanda. *sigh* I keep trying to steal my mom's keys to keep her out of that horrible moving thing, but she always seems to find them!

Yo, Willie, The secret to long car trips is to "turn off" and lounge in the passenger's lap, occasionally looking out the window to see what's what. Glad that you're home again. I was glad to get home again, too.
