12/28 Vyktor PMPS 362/20.1

hello vyktor's mum. given vyktor's recent history of triaditis and DKA, you might want to think about raising the dose to 1.5 units bid on the PM shot on december 29th... if you're not seeing nadirs below 200 before then. my reasoning is two-fold: it looks like it took 3u to bring him down into green and it sometimes you have to be a little more aggressive when there are other medical issues in the picture.
what do you think?
 
Hi guys ... No dosing advice from me, but if you take the increase I hope you start seeing lower numbers .. have a great night!

Hoping Vyktor comes down for you soon.....looks like Jill has visited your condo and made a recommendation for an increase. Good luck with it and I hope it brings Vyktor's BGs down.

Also...it is not necessary (if you don't want to...up to you) to put the intl BG in the subject line. Most of us, except our dear dear Canadian and Turkish friends, don't know what it means :lol: :lol:

Thanks for the advice I was getting impatient myself, however the 3U was Caninsulin not Lantus, and I have some excellent news, last night we went under 200 for the first time since the non-eating day - whoo hoo!!

Thanks but I think I prefer to include it for the non americans, then they know there's a spreadsheet they can look at in world. Also I have to try and keep thinking in world myself. At the moment I keep thinking in and talking to the vet in US speak and he has no idea what I mean - so I have to learn two languages :lol:
