Here's yesterday's saga!
Today: AMPS 281 +5 226 +6 275 +9 273 PMPS 287 +4 253
First off, thanks to everyone who visted our condo yesterday (and any other time, come to think of it)!
All seems fine with Sooty today, all meds and punctures accomplished and no "alarms & excursions" to report today (thank goodness!)
Our Acro-kitty Sooty has put on quite a bit of weight in the last week and is now about a lb over his ideal weight, after staying at 15:8 or so for the longest time, he's up to 16:12 as of yesterday. He's eating ~14-16oz of mostly Friskies LC per day which is less than he used to - but the Amoxillin he's on, we know, does contain some sucrose. Not sure if this is what is causing his weight gain (not to mention higher than usual BGs since he's been on it)... but it seems probable. We'll keep an eye on this as we can't really cut his food down any, as he has lately regained a somewhat excessive appetite (not as bad as it once was, but still more than a normal cat should want).
Hope all is well with you and yours this CHEWSday and thoughts as ever, go out to all those going through harder times than we are.
