Hi Julie,

I don't think it's still hurting. But It's still hard to eat for him.
Actually It was always hard for him to keep food in his mouth or chew food. I always needed to chew first then give him the food.( I mean cheese or sausage or chicken)
It is always like that since he was just a baby. I always thought It was my fault because I always give the food tiny bits, so I thought he got used that.( You know some mums use always blenders to make food soupy for babies (human) but then the kid can not eat bigger pieces)
But I talked about it the vet and he said all of these lead he always got a dental problem. Maybe he was in pain or something. I dont know.
Before surgery I was giving fancy feast mixed with water and he could eat it but now I need to use blender because he can not eat all the pieces...
So maybe he needs time...
He seems so much better, but I think he still needs time to heal completely....

Is raw food an option for Shanga? You could either purchase or grind your own chicken or other meat. (Most people here use either chicken or a novel protein if they have a cat with allergies.) You then have to add supplements to the food so it's a balanced and nutritionally complete diet. There's a recipe for raw food on Dr. Lisa's website or you can see if you can purchase a pre-mix (it's a dry mix that contains all of the supplements) if it's available in Turkey.

What a great mamabean you are to have done such a wonderful job nursing Shanga back to health after his dental surgery! And his numbers look fantastic!!! I have to believe he must feel so much better
to get those painful teeth out of his mouth.

Shanga is looking great! I am so glad that his mouth is healing. It will probably be healing for a while yet, since he had such extreme dental surgery. You are doing such a terrific job caring for him.

I tried several time raw food on Shanga... He never ate it... I didnt give food for hours but still he didnt... And I gave up... I know Dr. Lisa and her recipe.
I tried to prepare that but Shanga doesnt like it. If he would be OTJ someday, I will try it again. He has weird taste. He doesnt like milk, cheese, raw meet, sausage... But I found him someday when he was stealing my chickpeas...

He is slepping now, when he wakes up I'm gonna check his mouth. Hope everything will be fine...
