Greetings!
So happy to be home and Shadow was unusually happy to have us walk in that door last night.
It usually takes her a little bit to come out of hiding but she immediately started meowing when I called her name.
She wanted to be held immediately. No sulking..
And when we went to bed , she ate and laid down immediately and then pestered me for the next few hours
wanting her entire body scratched, even her spine. ( she usually doesn't want her back touched)
It was just odd for her to be that ecstatic to have me home. Guess after the diabetic regimen, she feels more bonded
than before? I don't know. but it was nice to be so important. cat_pet_icon
And her decrease in eating may have had to do with the teenager not cutting up the shrimp into tiny enough bites.
They were the size of small grapes in her dish and they needed to be much smaller for Shadow.
No one cuts up your food like Mamabean.... ;-) I should have had them all cut up already....before we left.
I know that now for next time. I need to cut up enough for all the days we travel, not just the first 2.
Today my dd is 17 years old. (she's my baby - )
We always come back so she can be home on her day. I have to cook her some fajitas for dinner.
