Good Morning, Everyone,

It looks like Rusty isn't done with his trip stress just yet! But at least he dipped his toes into the Lagoon last night for a little while. He ate almost all of his nighttime food and this morning we had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness turkey, first sitting eaten), and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator. He is still tired from the Xmas trip (as are we!).

Our new snow is beautiful. I'll take a pic later this morning for posting here. Whiteface Mt. (the big ski mountain near Lake Placid) got 2 feet of snow. Here we got about 1 1/2 feet. I hope we can get out to snowshoe this afternoon. The roads look good.

I so agree with the fatigue from the holidays... we are too!

I am sure Rusty will clear this yellow soon - he did really well yesterday. Back to the lagoon today Rusty?

Excellent on your snow - I so look forward to the pic. Your snow there made out news last night. :cool: ENJOY! and I hope you get out to snowshoe later today.

Morning Ella, do you think, like Maggie often does, that Rusty may have eaten close to the end of the pm cycle, as I know he free feeds, too. Would love to see a pic of the pretty snow. I do love looking at it from afar! :-D Have a wonderful day.

I know your snowshoe outing will be gorgeous today. Pictures will be wonderful!
Rusty must be tired and needing an extra nap. Give him a little scritch for me. Hey sweet Rusty... have a nice nap little one.

Good morning Ella and Stu I am sure over the next couple of day's Rusty's numbers will come down. I hear ya on being tired from the holidays, yesterday I did basically nothing because I was so pooped. HOpe you get to go out and get some snowshoeing in! Have fun. Happy Fursday!

Beautiful snow! I'm sure the snowshoeing is fabulous! The grotto is nice, Rusty, but the lagoon is calling.

Nice numbers and great snow. Have fun snowshoeing. When will they start grooming the XC trails.

Hi again,
Rusty is on the way back up, so I don't think he'll see the lagoon this cycle. I hope I don't have to take his dose back up.

We had a lovely snowshoe walk on the Boreal Life trail at the Paul Smiths Visitor Interpretative Center. I posted a picture of the woods in my initial post of today. They groom the ski trails, but not the snowshoe trails.

Not too and of a day for Rusty either - low blues are good. I bet he sees the lagoon soon.

Back at the lagoon tonight. Good boy. I think he was miffed that we went out this afternoon and therefore his numbers didn't come down when they should have?

What beautiful numbers for Rusty! I'm glad he turned it around for you and is settling back in after the trip stress. I'm envious of all the wonderful snow you have. We got a fair bit a few days ago but I'm pining for some more so I can go cross country skiing around my neighbourhood.

I hope you have a memorable NYE and thanks so much for visiting our condo with your insights on Lev.
