Monty is feeling much better and seems to be completely over his pancreatitis bout now.

His BG is back down to healthy levels (he was at around 200 in remission last week).

I've read that high fat diets can trigger pancreatitis so I'm going to make a slight change to his diet and make fish an oaccisional weekly treat rather than 1 of his 4 meals a day.

I have 2 kitties with pancreatitis. Everything I've read and other panc parents have said there is no evidence that fat plays a part in feline pancreatitis. Apparently it does for humans and dogs but not cats. Personally, I haven't noticed it affecting my kitties. Because of my diabetic, my boys all eat FF beef pate or chicken pate which I believe is pretty fatty.
