Poor Leroy! What happened?

Leroy has a chronic skin wound issue because he's diabetic. It's like how Human diabetics often have skin wound issues because their skin is so thin, I guess the diabetes somehow affects skin and healing. The hocks are in direct contact with everything Leroy sits on so they're just prone to wounds. The left one has been problematic and surgery was needed to close the wound. Even wrapped the left hock has issues

The skin issue is also why insulin doesn't stay in I shoot and it all comes back out somewhere not near the tented skin.
