Good Morning LL! Another nice day for Tess yesterday, but I guess all good things come to an end when Mr L gets involved. All we can do is can hope for a short low B.

Back to bed for the bean, I was up way to late backing up and upgrading the computer. I'm taking my new iPad in for setup and the laptop goes too as we have been having a few keyboard light issues.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club, Tess has decided the new location for the trackball is acceptable: underneath the rocking chair. she can bat the ball on the fly while running through the legs/

Good luck with the new iPad - hope set up goes well,and that they can fix the lap top.

Fun on the trackball story. cats are so great.

After you log into Google Docs and select your spreadsheet, it will appear in the mobile version. I have found that it is impossible to edit in the mobile version unless you do an extra step: They give you a choice of "spreadsheet view/version" or "mobile version". Select "spreadsheet version". You will then get the first page and a notice that it is not supported by your browser/device. Ignore this notice. Go up to the top right in the "spreadsheet version" and look to see if your log-in name is there. It will be there because you have already logged in. Click where it says "sign in". Then go back to the "mobile version" and you will see an "edit" box at the beginning of each line.

The "edit" boxes take a bit of getting used to, but you will figure it out. The process tends to be pretty slow. You have to wait for blank boxes to open under each of the elements of the line (date, amps, dose, +1, +2 etc.). Then simply go to the box you are filling in, type your entry, and when done, hit "submit". The colors don't come up right away (they may take up to 12 hours), and the boxes that have more than a number in them will not have colors at all (I haven't had time to figure out how to add colors; I just put them in on the computer later).

I hope this helps. I have the iPad 1, and it might be less cumbersome on the newer iPad 2. Good luck! Don't you just love the iPad?

Thanks Ella, I'll try to figure it out again later. I worked it out as far as the SS version selection. Then it got screwy. I have to wait 'cause DH just co-opted the iPad! :lol: :lol:

I have to wait to get the MacBook repaired. We need to back up the whole system first and w got a new Airport router w/ 2TB of memory today too. Pretty soon i will be able to see the keyboard again and we won't have to reboot the router constantly. :-D :-D :-D

mike is doing well... very well! he has some follow-up testing this week, but all in all he's pretty much back to normal!
we have so much to be thankful for...

You have to get the ipad2 setup? Mike has just been messing with it from home and setting up his apps. How lucky you two are!!
