As long as he has been on that .6u and you are still getting such high numbers I think personally I would be looking to change something. I'm really concerned that he has been over the renal threshhold for so long that you maybe running the risk of organ damage. Are you able to get any tests for Ketones on him?

A vet visit might just be in order, I hate seeing him run so high for so long, especially if you can't catch him for a ketone test. I maybe just a little overly cautious on that front since Musette is a DKA survivor before I adopted her. Thankfully she is easy to get a ketone test on as she likes to do her business with me in the mornings. :lol:

If nothing else a vet visit could at least rule out anything like infection that might be keeping him so high.
