Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty had a good night and was still fast asleep when the alarm rang! His AMPS is a typical number for the day after a car trip, and I hope he will come down as nicely as he did the day after we arrived at my sister's. He got an "ouchie" shot this morning, but it all went in. He enjoyed his Wellness Turkey breakfast (2 1/2 sittings) and is now napping next to the radiator.
We still don't have any appreciable snow and everyone up here is getting worried. This week between Xmas and New Years is the prime winter vacation time for skiers, and although the main ski mountains (Whiteface and Gore in NY and the big mountains in Vermont) are making snow and have about half of their trails open, the smaller places--and the X-country places--that depend on "real" snow, are still closed. Today it's supposed to be in the 40s with rain showers! Definitely NOT the usual weather pattern for late December. I hope I'll be able to try out my new snowshoes soon!!!
Wishing you all a good day and continuing to keep all sick kitties and beans in our thoughts and prayers,
Ella & Rusty
Hey all kitties, It was great to see you at Camp Stu for our Xmas Eve party. Such fun sliding down the hill toward the lake (but we had to be careful, since it wasn't really frozen yet)! The foods Chef Mannie and the Kitchen Krew made for the party were perfect. Willie and I enjoyed grilling right in the fireplace. The special drinks made by Gracie and the special desserts baked by Tess were delicious. Moonie did a great job with the Kitty Kristmas Karrolers. It was a special night. See you again on New Year's Eve. I'd like to volunteer to have the party in my barn. What do you all think? There'll be village fireworks at Midnight to watch and my beans are having a big New Year's Eve party, too.
