Good Morning,

breathing is starting to get heavier, I put her in the oxygen cage for 2 hours, she looked better after that ! at some point I felt like she is recovering and the water wont come back soon ;( but here we are. I will put some oxygen later on today .. she needs total of 6 hours as doctor said , divided into 3 times.


I pray she gets better without water removal I really hate the enisthatic and all the process and days after the procedure ;(


really sad today and feel like crying

I'm sorry you feel so sad (((Aseel))). I keep praying that the water will be less and less.
I hope she feels better by the end of the day, today. Keeping you and Noni in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, the most important thing is that she keeps her appetite .. please pray it goes a way

Praying it goes away and Noni is feeling more comfortable soon.

Hello Aseel. So sorry to hear that Noni isn't doing well today. Hopefully the oxygen does the trick and she won't have to go to the vet for relief. We have you and Noni in our Prayers.

Is it my imagination or is the draining getting less frequent? When was her last one? And the one before that?

I cant really tell, it was on the 19th her last draining ...I also gave lasix today, the vet told me to stop it last week. but since she is eating and I checked on her skin for a sign of dehydration and It looks fine to me .

I was wondering about the Lasix and why you were told to stop using it.
I hope it helps her. I'm glad she is eating.
And, I was thinking that it was a little longer since her last fluid drain, as well. Finger and Paws crossed here.
Keep eating and gaining your strength back Noni.

I looked back and she had her first drain on the 13 and then the 19 which was 6 days later. We are now at 8 days since her last one..

Yes Dyana, I decided to use the lasix , I think she should ,since she is eating ..

Wendy , I was hopping that the water take longer this time, but now I'm starting to worried if there is a tumour and maybe the size is getting bigger thats why she took longer time ;( nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile It must be wrong, but thinking negatively and it's eating me up

I don't know when is the right time to go to the hospital, last time they asked me to wait a bit longer since she is still not mouth open breathing. the other thing is that I don't want them to sedate her for the draining, the other vet told me that she can do it without sedation, but she is on vacation now and not coming before 1 week. also the vet who did the draining for her the last two time is on vacation for another week :YMSIGH: meaning someone else will have to do it for her and I don't know how it's gonna be. sedation , non- sedation... good or bad I don't really know

Hey, I would take it as a good sign that she has taken longer this time. And I would wait as per the vets instructions... Just focus on her right now, sounds like she is doing a bit better. So wnjoy that and spend quality time with her!

yea I think I will wait for her , started with lasix hope it can help her get rid of the fluid
