Good Evening All!!

Wow look at that PMPS! This morning Marco and Angel both had upset stomachs that ended up in vomit pools... :o they made me miss my Hot Chocolate Run :( Other than that all seems well. Kitties are taking their after dinner nap.

We have a guest coming over tonight, I'm sure Marco will be fine. He usually doesn't care who is here as long as they don't sit in his spot on the couch. Angel and Speedette though... well... they are really scared of any guests. I guess that's what happens when the last two years we lived with some very negative people who didn't allow guests in the house. :YMSIGH: Hopefully our little furries will grow to remember what it's like to have guest over.

I told Marco to make sure that he and the civvies don't leave me any surprises in the morning and I'll let him post his condo in the morning. He really likes that. ;-) We will try to visit some condos too.

+3 was 53. +3 also came with poo problems.

TMI Warning:

Marco seemed like he was constipated. He didn't want to go in the lb instead he chose areas around the house. Which is okay, we have all hard floors, and the rug we do have we have found an amazing product that works magic! Anywho... I thought he was constipated. Which he was, but I kept hearing squirts, and whistles, and then dripping... then finally lots of dripping and then hard poo. FINALLY Poo!! So... any thoughts? I would think Miralax for the constipation... but then there's the drippy stuff. So maybe no miralax?

Shortly after the new year I am taking him in to have blood work done....

I also need to take him to a groomers... and I don't want to. I don't like people handling our cats. I don't believe most that work with animals truly care, or handle the animals with care. At the same time I know Marco needs a heck of a lot more professional grooming care than dbf and I can provide. :YMSIGH: We were able to give him a butt bath, and blow dry him. But just that took us over an hour. I think after an initial grooming dbf and I could take care of maintenance. What do you look for in a groomer? How do you choose the right one?

oh and I visited a few condos earlier, posted, saw my post... and now i don't see them... :-|

Celia....he could still have stool stuck in his colon but some liquid moving around it. I give my two elderly civvies slippery elm syrup and it works lovely for them. They were both having drier stools and now they have the poos of young cats again   If you go to a health food store and buy the slippery elm bark powder and then:
put 1/2 cup bottled water in glass or porcelain pan, add 1 tsp SEB powder and whisk; warm on low until slightly thickened; pour in glass jar and store in frig. Give 5 mls bid until kitty more regular and then you can go to 5 mls sid as maintenance. I give it one hour before meds or two hours after and I usually put the 5 mls in a little glass dish, warm a few seconds in microwave and then draw into syringes.

However...having said that...I'd probably talk to vet; if he does that again, he made need an xray. Have you ever heard of Cat Attract? A friend of mine has a cat who poos around her house and once she started using that, he stopped and just uses the LB.
