No worries, a dollop of apple and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with crystallized apple bits and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

WOO HOO!!!! IT IS FRIDAY FURDAY! :-D :-D :-D I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. We did well here. Nicholas amazes me - he had to have been dead dog tired this morning, yet he comes ready to go. Granted still in his Pj's, but he knew what was going to go down today. I love that kid: such a zest for life and all the adventures that it has to offer. The same holds true for William - he was ready to go yesterday too. WOOT! We did the pool, the bark, and just had lots of fun laughing and talking, and doing silly things around the house, in between adventures. It was great. Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did well, despite all of us being more than tired. Nicholas and William were so tired this morning when it was wake up time that they arrived in the Pj's. and yet he was adamant that he go to the pool! He had a list of what we were going to go: We were looking at sunny skies this afternoon - what to do with that? Nicholas says we need to go to the Seattle Aquarium, The Pacific Science Center, and Juanita Beach Park... in that order! We settled for the Park, and he can stayed awake. Hard work turning 3 yesterday ya know... what a great Swimming day at the pool. he was tired when he got here, what with all that went on yesterday, Christmas and the birthday stuff, but he was still set to go to the pool. Amazing he always finds the energy for whatever the adventure will be. The schedule there is odd this week: closing at 3 (instead of 9), open swim starts at 11, goes to 3. so.... we did just about everything today since it was all open to him, when normally it would not be: beach, big pool, lazy river, the big bucket dump, and the Big big pool, aka the competition pool. That was the first chance he's ever had to swim in that pool. sheshhh he was so excited. This was a hoot: I went in first and silly me didn't think about the temp difference. anyways - jump in, that cold hits like a hard brick  , and wow - he was right after me. Talk about temp shock for him   .That took care of that, and out he went. Funny thing was he went back a few more times, despite what he thought of as too cold, he was back. He tells me next time he's going off the diving board. :o lol, and go for it kid. Lazy river was fun for him too, swam the whole darn thing too, with me holding his trunks at his back/waist so the current didn't take him under. anyways... awesome day for him in the pool: 2 hours today. We wound the day up at Juanita Beach, despite his being one tired boy. 1:30 rolls around, and he's telling me over and over and over: we gotta go somewhere else. PLeeeaasssssseeeeee??? ah heck, and why not, so off we went. It was a nice chance for him to play with other kids, and just enjoy the beach. and William? along for the ride. :-D and so went the day...." AWESOME DAY! Thanks guys!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!   And little to write about. what s up with that? They really have been good kitties yesterday - even Lola. She ran alot, she always does, but nothing was Lola-ized. AWESOME! But a large part of me knows it is just the calm before the next storm.    I didn't see her in the tree yesterday, but there was evidence! scattered soft ornaments!   LOTS of ornaments. I'm not too sure when I will take it down, if it survives that long... Maybe New Years Day. Lola - you've got a week, enjoy, but please do not destroy.  "TOO LATE!" says the cat.... It has been a very peaceful and quiet day for the kitties today - alot of sleeping, and recovery I am sure Lola has been too. IT really was a very busy day for her, and I don't really recall her taking ay cat naps. Lots of sleep today to catch up on, for all of the three musketeers.

Have a great day everyone. I'm not too sure that will be today. Weather is borderline.... Nicholas wanted a river yesterday - when doesn't he want a river! So with the warmer weather (like mid 40's) we may go and do that, make a couple of stops along the Skykomish. We shall see how things are once he gets her and what he has decided about the day. He cracks me up: only just turned 3, and he has it all figured out - knows exactly hat he wants to do. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Nicholas!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Good morning Michelle ~O) And a huge thank you to you Elsa my dear :-D :-D

What a fabulous day you had! I had to laugh about the cold water hitting you like a brick. Too funny, I can just picture the shock  Hope you can get to the River today. That Nicholas is a gem! So tired, but not gonna waste one minute of life!!
And LOLA!! Are you never going to get bored with that tree?
You are truly a godsend Michelle! The time and energy, and creativeness you put into your family and for us! God love ya! I am blessed every day for now knowing you!

Have a great one and TGIF!!

Wow, so much energy, your condo always makes me feel exhausted just reading about all the adventures  I guess the kitties could use a nice rest day. Wonder what tomorrow will bring when they are all rested :o ;-) Hope you have a nice day Michelle:)

Hi Michelle,
What another fun day for you and your boys!! Love Nicholas' haircut :-D He looks so much older. Hope you were able to make it to a river. 40degrees after that big pool will feel like a heat wave
Lola, be good while your mommma is out - a nice, long nap sounds great~

It sounds like you had a good day yesterday even with the boys being tired. Of course Nicholas still wanted to go swimming. I hope you get to a river today.

Happy Furday night everyone, I hope your Furday was a good one. Ours was great! We ended up making it an indoor day. Weather here has been such a mixed bag today. Fog in the morning, with a few sun breaks, clouds moved in, rains came, sky drama occurred, and now it's a mixture of everything, and 44. The winds picked up something fierce when we got the the waterfront today, that was really cold there. We ended up at the Aquarium today. That place is rapidly becoming our fall back spot to go. I really debated about heading out on up Hwy 2, through Gold Bar to Skykomish, and make a few river stops. I just couldn't confirm the lack of rains, and that it would get out of the 30's. Most places there right now are at a high 30's. oh well.... we can always go next week too. This afternoon Nicholas tells me that he really misses the rivers, and can we go please. Guess we need to get there.... so anyways.... off to the Aquarium we went, once again. It was a good time, he knows that place so well, has a plan on what to see today, spend time with, once he walks in the door. William just follows, watches what big bro does. We saw just about everything, made several loops through the place until he was just too tired to do anymore. He is beat. It has been along past few days for him, with stimulus overload from Christmas and his birthday. Amazing how well he does when he is maxed out like that. We focused alot on the tropical fish today, it was the area of choice. it is interesting that it varies each time we go. I will post the Picassa links in tomorrow's condo. Enjoy your Friday night everyone! pizza here - YUM!

Hi Kim - THX, it was a good one yesterday. LOVE the pool, and a big yes on that cold water. One tends to forget... the normal area Nicholas is in is just a little bit warmer. THX on today - no river, if only because it was just so darn cold there, and it gets tough to keep William warm. so... indoors we went. What you say about Nicholas is so true: he does not want to waste one minute. He hates naps: me might miss something! ;-) and I truly mist thank you for the rest of your comments. you are so kind, and I am grateful for all you wrote. I am so glad that some of these condos that I do have some merit for folks. Thanks you. so much!
Auntie Kim! :-D :-D :-D I will bring you a nght time ~O) they is mega good, and caffeine-less. It is Mannie's secret formula. he was after all the master barista! See ya in few! ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Rachel - haha!, it makes me tired just thinking about all we do. By the time Friday night rolls around I am done, over and out, and down for the count. I so know on the kitties. Lola is already at it... seems she feels she is rested enough, and took on the tree once again. More scattered ornaments when I got home.  THX on today - it was great.

Hi Jane - THX, it really was a fun one, We all had a great time, better to be busy at fun than not. ;-) Yes on the haircut - anytime he gets one I think that too. Such a big boy now. No river - I had hoped, but it just wasn't warm enough, and then there were those incoming rains... well, next week we will go! LOL on the heat wave, but more than true.

Hi Carla - we did! They did well, despite the fatigue. I bet they sleep well tonight, and in late tomorrow. Right you are on the pool - he just never says no to that. He knows which days he goes, comes prepared, suit all packed, ready to go. didn't do the river.... now I am second guessing myself on that one.

Hi Michelle,
I missed a few days of the board while we were at Xmas, but it sounds like you all had a very merry Christmas and that Nicholas had a great birthday. That swim in the olympic pool must have been a thrill for him! Love the pics and the Park pics, too. I sure hope your weather gets better soon so that you can go to a river.

Have a good evening and a great weekend. It's nice to see that Lola is still enjoying the tree!!!

Elsa, the coffee was never needed as much as it was today! THANK YOU, Kitteh Barista!

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

HI Ella - I m glad that you guys had a great holiday, and made it back safely. Ours has been great,as was Nicholas's birthday. it is hard to believe that he is now 3! and yes on the pool! I was so excited to be in it, but that pool temp is much cooler than the pool he usually is in, so that got the better of him. He will be back though I am sure - he wants to go off of the diving board! me too n the rivers - we both miss them. All we need is a little more warmth - we can deal whit the 40'sa, but the 30's there are a nit much. :? yes on Lola - at least a dozen trips up it today.
Auntie Ella - you are so welcomes! I made sure I brought the est, and lots today. I knew you'd need it. You need some more? !!~ Elsa, KBP

I'm worn out, just reading about all of your adventures.   That's great the Nicholas got to play in all of the areas at the pool, even the frigid competition pool. Now you get a weekend to recover, Michelle. :-D
Liz

Hi Liz - THX, and yes I do, and recover I shall! :-D Nicholas really did enjoy being able to do all the areas of the pool. That doesn't happen often so it was a great day for him. Frigid describes that pool, one tends to forget that those big pools are a tad bit cooler....
