12/27 Alska AMPS=262 PMPS=147

This cat only wakes to eat and now I either have to escort him or carry him upstairs at night to sleep on the bed. We are finally figuring out a routine. Also, in the morning I lock him in his room after eating until I see something in the litter box.

Tomorrow the new chair comes. Old pissed-upon one was picked up by the garbage people today. Still not sure how he will react. I may cover the seat in plastic until I feel more secure about his LB behaviors.

He is coming down from his quick bounce. I have not made the vet appointment yet because I don't want to put him in a carrier so soon after the kittens left in one but if bouncing is reduced with Levemir then this might be a better insulin for him.

Have you started him on Lev?

With Lucian, the bounces were lower and he came out of them much faster, not like the roller coaster ride of Lantus. Hoping I can get him back to that point. The difference the Lev made for him was astronomical.

No - I haven't made that vet appointment yet because I want the business of carriers going in and out the door to be more distant in his memory and I still have a bit more of lantus to go. I don't want to scare him as he saw the kittens go and not come back and will see that again this weekend. For this reason, I am holding off.
