Has there ever been a flatter cycle than yesterday’s?
We took regifting to a new level yesterday. We gave Weezer back her old litterbox. We’ve been using the smart box system for several months, for the ease of getting ketone tests, and to keep track of urine output. It has been quite any eye opener. I never would have imagined a little being could pee over a pound of urine in 24 hours! But I couldn’t find a way to keep that box fresh. I dumped the urine every time there was anything to dump and washed the catch basin each time. I changed out the “litter” (actually sufflower seeds) and washed the whole box every week. But it was always stinky. Weezer never liked it. She’s a really good girl, so she never protested outside the box. But you could see from her body language that she was uncomfortable in it. So I have been practicing lb stalking; I don’t think getting ketone tests will be a problem. I’ll have to notice how quickly we go through litter to tell if she pees more or less. It’s time to ditch the smart box and get back to dumb peeing for us. She couldn’t be happier.
