I have absolutely no idea what is going on w/this! NDW? I was not able to get any overnight data so I don't know if it could be RBC.

I started her on Clavamox this morning, there are a couple of tiny spots above her eye where those rodent ulcers usually start. Maybe that will help.

Re: 12/26 Tinkerbell AMPS 478 OUCH!

If she bounces for 72 hours, then last night was 72 hours since that 90 on the 22nd. But I don't know. Could be NDW.
Or high before the break.. fingers crossed. Come on down Tinkie, nice and easy.

Has Clavamox worked on rodent ulcers in the past? I didn't think they were caused by an infection.

This is probably NDW -- you increased last night.

Yes, the Clav always clears them up, usually w/in a couple of days they start to dry up. The last time the vet had her on the Clav for 30 days and they stayed gone longer than they ever had on the previous 14 day courses. I am gonna try it for 7 days and then decide whether to go another 7 or not after that. The vet originally (back in Feb/March) mentioned treating them w/steroids but also said that since Tink was diabetic she would prefer to try the ABs first, which consideration I really appreciated.

Those numbers are stinky, Tinky! I hope her numbers get better as the day goes on and that you're having a good one, too.

Today:

AMPS 478 OUCH! shot 2.25u (2nd shot on this dose), gave Clav & Pepcid, fed (not necessarily in that order)
+3.5 / 339
+4.75 / 273 - fed
PMPS 401 - fed

I don't know what's going on w/her still. She acts fine. Maybe this is RBC from wherever she went from the yellow @ +4.75, maybe it's RBC, maybe it's still NDW.

I'll just keep an eye on her. She's so pretty that's not hard! :-D
