Neko's green Christmas and ferry ride. Thanks for visiting this morning Michelle - I was thinking of you and Nicholas's birthday yesterday. I especially needed the hot beverage.

Today is my DH's birthday and he's back in the kitchen prepping veggies for tonight's potluck at his uncle's place. Neko's keeping an eye on things. DH dropped a piece of raw turnip but she was pretty slow and DH beat her it. Nothing's safe in our kitchen.

Hmm, that smiley's a bit extreme, gotta find another one.

Both Neko and Theo were thrilled that this morning consisted of canned food breakfast. They normally eat raw, canned food in their mind is reserved for HC treats. I'm thawing out some lamb so they'll get something special tonight too

I hope everybody is having a safe and relaxing Boxing Day. In Canada, it's crazy sale day so we are staying away from shopping today.
 
Neko you is some strange cat - turnip! really! and your numbers are supposed to go down after your shot, down I tell you! She is certainly a one of a kind Wendy :)

I'll never forget walking down Robson Street on Boxing Day when we got married in 2006. We were two of the few non-Asians and I felt extra tall and it was a madhouse! People were crazy for the sales. Definitely a cultural experience. Happy Birthday to DH! Better luck next time on that turnip, Neko.

You've got some nice pretty pre-shots going on there Neko! Turnip...hmmm...I don't think you really want that Miss. Eddie's jealous that Neko and Theo are going to get some lamb. He's stuck with his canned Wellness Chicken and Turkey. :(

LOL on the turnip. I wonder if she would have eaten it if she had gotten to it first? Nice start for Neko today. I hope she heads back do the lagoon soon.
 
It amazes me how Neko is unfazed by traveling to your parent's place- Good Girl Neko! I shopped today - there weren't that many people out and about- ;) but I know Robson Street can be crazy even when it isn't Boxing Day! Happy Bday to your DH
 
When I picked her up to test her, her fur was feeling extra soft so PS wasn't a surprise. Brat - she knows I came home from the party and have to go back to eat my dinner. Why else would she give me a 76 at PMPS time! Maybe it's for that yummy HC that's been added to Otto for +1. She may not need it, but just in case. :rolleyes: Lamb dinner was almost as well received as Wellness Turkey this morning.

@Serryn, Ann, Marilyn, Liz, Jen, Carla, Ruth - Wellness Turkey has carrot in it, turnip isn't that much different, but who knows if she would have eaten it. She has eaten cooked green bean before. Speaking of green, I sure hope this is her nadir like it sometimes is on Levemir.

Happy Boxing Day. It sounds like you had a nice Christmas. You are lucky that Neko is a good traveler and not afraid of her shadow like Max is.
 
Back from the party, Neko wanted outside. It was after midnight and raining - silly kitty. She compensated by landing on DH's lap.

@Deborah, Linda, Elise - Happy Boxing Day back at ya. Lamb was well received. I have fed it to them before, but it's a higher calorie meat than the other red meats I feed them, so it's a treat.
