Good day! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Now the countdown to 2012 begins.
Morgaine has been steady as can be, surfing blue and not venturing into green for a few cycles now. Hoping she does that today or once again I might have to fatten that dose. I started her on fluconazole, 25 mg per day as she has a fungal claw infection. The vet noticed it in Nov. and we waited until she cleared the UTI. Providing she tolerates this okay, she will be on it for 2 months. Poor baby has licked the hair off of her front toes and picks on the nails of her back paws. This, according to the vet, is FD related. I also have had fungal nail infections due to Diabetes. Otherwise, we are doing well. Still not in the bedroom since I had to order new sheets, a mattress protector and a blanket/spread. Hopefully everything will get here this week. Meanwhile, my sofa is comfy and she is nearby for mamabean to keep an eye on her.
She is using her box but sometimes sprays onto the pee pad too. We are managing this well and hopefully she will not pee the bed. I got some Feliway spray and replacements for my Feliway diffusers. These are supposed to help stop the inappropriate urinating. I sprayed a little bit of the spray on my hand and she sniffed it and was very interested in it. I always question things like this but there is some definite positive reaction to it.
