Mannie and I send you holiday greetings today, and thank all of you for visiting us yesterday. We are grateful, and thank you all for your well wishes regarding our new DGS!

What a day yesterday - Mannie appears to have been on an all day slidage from the high pinks, to the blues, and perhaps even the greens after I went to never never land. I did have to carb up at the start of his PM cycle in order to keep him safe while we were gone for a while. Never crazy about doing that, but it was apparent that he was headed down, mini dive in progress, and well..... just seemed the best thing to do. We came home a few hours later to a 115. YAY! No doubt I halted his trip to the greens, but that for me is OK - it's just one cycle in a sea of thousands. and hey - look at today's +2. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: looks like a busy morning ahead...

Mannie is one happy dude! Santa Claws brought him new nanners. WOOT, and MINE says Mannie... no says the bean, you have to share with your sisters. Noooooooooo says the cat. He corralled them all up sometime during the night, and now has a very nice nanners nest to sleep on. I had to laugh this morning: we were starting his test, just ready to poke when he bolted. :shock: Seems one of the civvies was within inches of the nanners. Oh the horrors! :o Breech in nanner security! :o :o Once order was restored he returned to his test spot, and we began our day. breffis consumed, preening completed, purrs in order, nanners secured, napping in progress.

OT, and on a personal note: thank you all for your well wises and congratulations on the birth of my DGS. We are all so thrilled, excited: born on Christmas day! What a very special gift. and for the details: Nicholas Cormac Leach, born 2:52PM 12/25/2010, 6lbs 10oz, 19" in height, 5.5 hour labor:natural birth, no drugs, mom and dad doing very well. I had to smile alot over the name choice. Mom and dad have said from the get go that if their baby should be born on Christmas that there was no doubt that his name would be Nicholas. and so it is - fitting I think. :-D

My friends!!! I would like to get together today - just to relax and enjoy each others company. See you guys? ~~ Mannie

Hi Sienne - shesshhh I think so. It was so great to get that amps today - wow! celebrate on kitty. And yes on the nanners photo - I took a bunch, and need to get through them. The whole thing with him and those nanners is just too funny. Photo ccming - promise! :-D

Way to stay on top of things yesterday despite all the chaos and excitement. And look at Mannie go this a.m. Must be the excitement over the nanners.

nanner photos attached. I though I had taken one with him and all 6 of them - but alas, apparently not... anyways the one with three: just imagine the other three just out of view to his left.

Love the pics of Mannie guarding his nanners...he is so funny. Mannie is one handsome dude, too!!! He's looking great today...I love how Mannie clears those bounces so quickly and he's just had one good cycle after another. Great job, Michelle.

Mannie...we gots lot of sun here and everyone can chillax here 'cept my daddybean is not here to fix us any special appetizers or drinks; do we gots any leftovers from the party? Thanks for letting me go along last night to take things to kitties in shelters and that are homeless and sick. I tinks we need to do more KTSS for Blackie today...what do you think?

I loved the pictures of Mannie guarding his nanners. My sweet cat Cokie, that is now in kitty heaven, looked just like Mannie so it brought a smile on my face to see Mannie's pictures. Congratulations on the new baby!

Morning Marjorie - SWEET, huh... :cool: those nanners are so darn funny. He was semi-gracious yesterday, and did allow his sisters some play time. I really had a good laugh this morning when he just bolted out of my lap before I could test him - one of the girls was in his stash. ohmygod_smile NO WAY was his response. omg.... -- and yes, so nice on these cycles - guess he really did earn the last reduction - so far, so good!

Morning Ele - So true on the civvies - I bought extra this year so that his sisters could have some too - oh sure.... he just confiscated those too. shesshhhh! and yes - we are very happy - he is a sweet mellow baby, coos constantly , very content -- so far. :-D

Hi Lisa - i loved them too... wish though that I had gotten one with all of them. hmmmm - maybe later today. :-D

Wow! A Christmas baby, a happy kitty, and a wonderful family story. Welcome Baby Nicholas! Congrats Uncle Mannie! And Grandma, you must be so happy to greet the new addition to your family and to share in the joy of your daughter and son-in-law.

Tanks for coming to hang in the sun!! The leftovers were really good. I'm glad we didn't have to get out any diving equipment for the pool today, Mannie. I hopes Blackie feels better. Did you hear dem torti gurls ate binks' mousie? BAD GIRLS!!

DH, and my youngest boy, and duh: the guy on the bed with DD is her DH -- one forgets how small babies are until you hold a newborn. he was 4 hours old in those photos. :) on Mannie - one never knows... I have a 215 pmps, but that is down from the +11. hard to say - he almost always spikes then, hard sometimes to know where he's headed... guess we shall see!

Michelle I'm so happy to hear Nicholas had a healthy Christmas arrival. Congratulations!!!!!!!!! Your daughter is shining holding him.

I can't get over some of the stories I read about cat behaviour on FDMB. I am getting the biggest kick out of some of the things cats are capable of. Building a nanner nest and defending it is one of the coolest things yet. Very smart kitty. HAHAHA. I love it.

Ha Karrie - yep - my DD is just so very happy - what a wonderful gift. I know - I agree too on some of the stories I read here - we have some amazing and fun kitties. I just did Mannie's final test for tonight, and once done off he went - back to nanner pile sleeping. It cracks me up.

Hi Ann - yep - that sleep thing is sorely needed. I wonder if one night is enough - probably not... :lol: I hope you tonight too. THX on the photos. I'll have to get one of Mannienannerking with the whole stash. :lol: :lol:
