12/24 condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=32785
Not sure what happened to Spot's condo from yesterday. We made one last night before heading off to bed...it went poof!! So, here's a little recap from yesterday and today:
A really good day yesterday. Gave me a few greens, a nice 55 then a bounce for his pmps. Spot does not seem to be to overly concerned with Penny being here. Penny does not bother Spot, Spot does not bother Penny. We are sticking with the 5 am 5 pm schedule for the next few days. My mom's sister passed away on Thursday and the viewing and funeral are on Monday and Tuesday and that schedule works well for us at this time. I think Spot would rather have this 6 am 6 pm schedule tho. Spot is going into the vet on Wednesday for his comprehensive exam. This is good because yesterday, as I was petting him, I felt a lump on his left side, by his shoulder blade, around his injection site. It's about the size of a half egg, longways. I'm hoping that it is a fatty cyst. Guess we will find out on Wednesday. Today Spot has been in the blues. I'm not sure if he got into something, who knows with all the company and cookie crumbs that are around here. We had a bunch of company today, add Penny tot he mix, could be stress related. Spot's appy is excellent, he is going to the LB, purrs when getting his test, plays with the laser light, and has enjoyed sleeping on my tummy for the past few days.
Ralph is also doing well. His bg yesterday was 130 and today it was 78, so it seems like it is coming down. Ralph seems to be more alert lately, sleeping normal amount of time. He purrs alot. He enjoys laying on our laps and sleeping and enjoys sleeping on the bed w/me. He has also jumped on the chairs and the bed a few times. He is feeling a bit mischievous around Penny. He enjoys going over to her and trying to lick her ears. Penny, however does not appreciate this at all. She will growl at him to let him know this. At one point, I heard Penny growling and yelling at him and I turned around just in time to see Ralph give her a few patpatpats on her nose.
I have had to tell him several times to leave her alone. He is being a trouble maker, lol!
The only big issue I have is his eating. He makes noises as he eats, making me think that if it's not his teeth, maybe something is wrong with his jaw. He is also going to the vet on Wednesday and I'll talk to her about that. Going to set up his dental too.
We hope that everyone had a Very Merry Christmas...I know our wishes are late, but we were on time with our condo yesterday...
