Good morning!
OTJ Trial Day 9 AMBG 104

Boomer didn't each much (if anything) last night but did eat a bit of breakfast this morning. Cerenia and mirtz. were last given 1.5 days ago so he can have any time today. He spent the night on the end of our bed but did come up for a cuddle with me twice.

He certainly doesn't look like a sick cat and most of the time he doesn't act like a sick cat. I wish his appy would pick up.

It was very mild here yesterday and it continues today. Unfortunately it's also been foggy/cloudy and there is rain expected today. We have no plans for today (except DH is going to Costco) and clean-up from yesterday is pretty much done. Yesterday was Christmas with DH's son and family; Christmas with my daughters and their families will happen on Sunday.

Thank you again for all your vines, prayers, wishes, and hugs. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Happy Day 9

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D!!

Appy vines....please eat, Boomer! I know this is probably a longshot, but since he's not acting like a sick kitty other than the appy issue, and since Dr Larry said he doesn't present like a cancer cat....maybe there's a remote chance that the mass the US tech saw is something more like a blockage of hair????
Everyone can make mistakes and I am hopeful that the US tech made one.

Boomer had a small lunch but for some reason wandered out when we brought the leftover turkey from the downstairs fridge  I got one of his new toys out of his box....its a stick with felt strings hanging from it....and we played for about 10 minutes with it! Then I took out a new mousie for him and he was holding it/licking it then while I was getting lunch ready DH saw him toss the mousie up into the air!

He had a bit of turkey during his Beans' lunch and now he's asleep on his desk again.

Maybe Boomer just doesn't need as much food? Ravan eats less now than he did last year.
It sounds like Boomer is feeling good. That a good sign.
Are you going to do a follow up to double check on that Diagnosis? I regret not knowing sooner about Peggy Sue. I thought she had an infected tooth.I would have brought her to an oncologist if I had known she had cancer.

Hooray for turkey leftovers, what is it about the sound and smell of turkey coming out of the fridge that brings cats running.:)

Was it a U/S tech or vet? Here the U/S are usually done by trained vets. The reduced appy is consistent with large cell lymphoma, or mass in the intestines. So is the fluid they found. It is good that Boomer doesn’t seem to feel anything wrong, other than appy.

Mistakes happen all the time in medicine! Only a biopsy is solid proof of any form of suspicious activity...let's hope his appetite returns soon.

Great job on the OTJ...no need for juice with those great numbers...sending scritches to Boomer :) I'm glad he's playing with his toys!!!

Day 9--a good day, Boomer! Great that Santa Paws brought you such wonderful toys. Now, let's see a good appy, OK?

Judy, I hope that your boy will continue to feel good. Glad you and your families are enjoying an extended Christmas week.

It was the tech that spoke with us but a vet that did the ultrasound.
