WCR: Weight = 10.87 lbs. Still watching, and if she falls any further may have to add a bit more fuds shortly. Adjust and wait.. Adjust and wait...
WBR: Got dinner done, but the turkey was still frozen inside, and it took a lot longer than expected to cook through. Next time, I think I'll cook it in the stove instead of the electric roaster oven, and will make sure that it's thawed out completely. So, we ate late. Too late, actually. Almost every cat kept bugging me for some reason or another. DH also bugged me a few times, and it was almost getting to the point of annoying as I wanted to get the baking and cooking done. Blackie thought I was opening up her can as I had a can of shortening in my hand to make mincemeat cookies with. She was talking up a storm, and getting in my way. It was actually cute of her, though. 72 cookies later, those were done. The pumpkin pie was done, and then it was on to making Christmas dinner.
At least we had a white Christmas this year. It rained for much of the day yesterday, then turned to sleet, and then it turned to snow, with winds gusting up to 30 mph, or perhaps a bit higher. This morning the winds have calmed down, but they're still blowing a bit. It's chilly out there... only about 25 degrees. I need to bring out buckets of hot water to unthaw my horse's water tub, and make sure that she has something to drink, too.
I thought briefly about taking down my tree and decorations today, but I'll leave them up until the New Year. That's our tradition anyway.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.
