MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!​

Simon thinks pink is pretty close to red this morning and he wanted to look a little like Santa. He is still a little upset at me becuase I wouldn't let him sleep with me last night because I had Cleo in the room and wanted to keep him separated from her since Cleo just had surgery. This morning, I let Simon get close to Cleo. He started licking her ear and acting very sweet when Cleo stuck out her paw and scratched him! He was a little disappointed in the reaction.

Cleo had a pretty good night, wanting to spend it under the bed in her cat bed instead of on the bed. She has eaten a little food this morning but I want her to eat more today than yesterday. I am putting out a huge buffet for her to choose from. The pain meds are definitely helping and she is very alert looking. Incision site looks good and no swelling or redness, just major bruising. I have a pet sitter coming for 3 hours today so I can go visit my in-laws. I think she is going to do ok. No poopies yesterday or this morning, but I'm hoping to see a little action today once she starts eating more.

Georgia, such a nice and positive report on sweet Cleo. Awww....poor Simon with the scratchie. Sending vines and prayers for a good recovery for Cleo and scritches to Simon. Enjoy your Christmass today with family.
