Yesterday was the start of a new dose for Mannie. After posting a 34 the night before, and this also being his 3rd dip below 50, we reduced to a F2.75u. Sheshhhh that is hard to measure. :? He had a nice mellow day yesterday. We have pink this morning, a bounce I presume, at 375. I hope he can clear it quickly... perhaps he just wants to give his bean a day off.... What a guy - but maybe a yellow day off would be better... :-D

Completely OT: Today is the day: as I was stumbling up the stairs at 4:30 AM, trying to wake up, focus on Mannie, the phone rings... :shock: YIPPIE! It's my DD - baby is on his way, early stage labor @ 5 minutes apart, we could very well have a Christmas baby. If she's anything like he mom she will have a fast labor... stay tuned... :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Mannie is well this AM - very happy, content, affectionate. Santa was good to him - more nanners, and the boy is more than happy. Breffis is consumed, napping in progress, new nanners added to the stash, and he anxiously awaits to get things rolling today. He has a special day planned for Christmas day....

HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2010

Today is a special day for all us LL kitties, and kitties everywhere!
It is a time to remember our friends, our families, those who are not as fortunate as we are.
It is a time to take care of those in need, those that are sick, those that do not have homes or families.
It is a time to celebrate, a time to share our bounty, our good fortune.
It is a time to remember those that have gone before us, and what they have left behind for us.

The holiday season is very special for me. Today I would like to take time to remember all kitties, even those that are not FD kitties.
I want to remember and visit all the kitties that are in shelters and do not have homes or friends to visit them.
I want to remember all the kitties that are in vetty hospitals and can’t be home.
I would like to take them some holiday cheer and some special dishes to share. I hope that the Kitty Christmas Choir will come and sing for them.
I hope that the KTSS will work their magic.

Wonderful news about DD and the baby on the way. What a perfect holiday gift.

Thank you for the beautiful sentiment about the holiday season and all of the kitties out there who are struggling because they are sick or don't have a forever home. May the magic of the holidays grant them all of their wishes.

Oh how exciting. A Christmas Baby! I hope everything goes smoothly and you're holding your new grandson soon, Michelle.

I think Mannie just wanted to keep Blackie company this morning on the pink floor. I hope they'll both come down today while they're out visiting kitties. What wonderful sentiments from Chef Mannie this morning too. My wish is that all kitties and droolers have a home of their own.

Thanks everyone - this certainly be a Christmas to remember... providing of course that this baby is born today... ok, now what will I do with all this food, I am minus two eaters. hmmmmm- maybe pack it all up and take it to the hospital :lol: :lol: :lol:

And yes - it is my wish, and Mannie's, that all those kitties out there that need help, homes, love will find it. Seemed the thing that Mannie would want to do today.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO OUR DEAR FRIENDS MICHELLE & MANNIE--Our wish for all kitties is the same as yours--That no animal ever has to suffer again=
I give every time I have money to the Popcorn Zoo and Assoc Humane Soc. of NJ--They do amazing rescues of wildlife, ferals,abandoned dogs & cats, & exotics that are abused or abandoned..Makes me feel so happy..
On a Happy note, gee my prediction was off, I said the baby would be born on the 26th--Oh well I was close :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Woo Hoo! Baby coming! How exciting! Roni - he's not born yet, so you could still be right! Oh, and Michelle? Muffin says she'll be glad to help you out with that extra food! :lol: I tried to buy them a rotisserie chicken yesterday for their xmas dinner, but I waited too long and they were all gone....so I guess they'll have to eat steak with us! (Which reminds me....I have to get that marinating! :o )

Mannie! Gweat idea to go bisit da poor kitties dat can't be home today! I neber been to a shelter, but da drooler comed from one and he say dey is NOOOO fun...and kinda scary too. But if my LL famwy is wit me, I cans be bwave! Let's go! - Muffin

Hi Claudia! no update on the new addition to our family.... oh I so suck at waiting...

I'm with you Roni - do as much as we can for those animals that truly need it.

From what i hear - Mannie isn't really talking - it must have been one fun party last night. Mannie was so glad that Willie could make it. :-D

And Barb - so true (!!) on the birthday thing... :lol: :lol: poor kid! knowing my DD and DSIL though she and he will somehow make up for that. Then again - who knows: maybe the little tyke will wait until it is 12/26. and then - roni! you are right. :lol:

Hi Anne... I know! I am a little preoccupied, and wow - still need to get things moving here as both my DS's are due shortly... hmmmmmm - Mannie read Steak and wanted to know what time dinner was. :lol:

OMG A CHRISTMAS BABY BOY!!! I knew it!!! What a blessing.....I hope he decides to make his entry today. I'm sure you all must be so excited that you can't think of anything else!!

Michelle: I just want to take this day to thank you SO MUCH.....your wonderful, inspirational daily condos, your support/help/encouragement...YOU are such a blessing to Mike, Gracie, and me. I hope you, Mannie, DH, civvies, family, DGS to be all have a joyous day.

Thank you all for the wishes! What an incredible Christmas. :-D :-D :-D :-D DH and I , and one DS (the other is at work) hope to pay them a short visit this evening. I guess that they have not slept in 36 hours ( as this all started late last night while at the in-laws for xmas eve...), are very tired, so we won't stay long. per DSIL Erin really wants to see her family - as it's Christmas, and she missed our time together.

YIPPEE!!!!!

wow - what a day! I managed to get Mannie's numbers, but too much else. :lol: :lol: and of course in true FD fashion he starts to dive with pmps. uh noooooooooo Mannie, not today. :shock: I had to carb him up - hated doing it, but he was safe and so excited that he got gravy, i was relieved and could visit my new grandson without worry. I fed him 14% HC from +1, +2, +2.5... and still came home to a 115. not bad.
